Firelord is the chump version of Silver Surfer, he actually lost to Spiderman in a cannon fight. Any Green Lantern would give Silver Surfer a heck of a fight and Hal Jordan could beat him. Guy Gardner would have no problems taking on Firelord.

Anyway its pretty inconsistent with the lore since I remember Spidey's alien suit supposedly reacts violently and is afraid of fire, and the fact Firelord is an embodiment of a living star it's pretty obvious.

Now about Guy Gardner vs Firelord, isn't the green ring's weakness orange light also as it absorbs any construct emitted by the ring as long as its Orange light? Can Firelord produce such light energy being a living star?

This battle was more like BRB hitting Fire Lord around the space, but he was taking all that punishment pretty well.

And at this point i dont think that the striking power of Guy can be compared with the Beta, however that is not the topic... but i think Fire Lord can win in a very hard fight.
