imo planes aren't agile enough.

@killerwasp: I don't remember the United Forces even managing to down one plane, but I could be wrong, and they had much more advanced battle ships with cannon instead of boulders. I remember the planes could fly very high, so could avoid the first wave, go down and decimate many, before rising up. A few would be destroyed, but I think they could sink many ships. The battle ships used by the united forces were also much larger and armoured, meaning they are harder to sink compared to the fire nation ones.

@johnfrank120: Advanced? They basically had the same ships and even worse their big guns were lite up by fire benders which imo is way less than these things. On top of having being able to kill air craft a like with those small rounds the fire nation should be able to do it. As for the armor we don't know that, and we don't know the size either. Prince zuko's ship was tiny compared to the fire nation's ships and thats not counting Zhao's flagship.

@killerwasp: Actually the ships were very different, the older ships were manned by many less people, with many less armaments than the Battleships, the fire blasts are much faster than the trebuchets. I went back on the ep and there were more than 28 planes, if they fail the initial attack, the equalists can use airships to destroy any remaining ships.

Round 3: Azula > Amon and Hiroshi, Lieutenant > Zhao, Equalists > Fire Nation, I'm thinking Equalists 6/10 but it could basically go either way as well
