final form sephiroth vs. superman
Mako energy is magic and that is what is inside Sephiroth..Superman is still weak to magic although he has had some help overcoming that...he loses.
ofcourse ive played final fantsasy sseven ive beaten it four times and i dont remember there bieng a materia that can take out your soul
"Sephiroth wins cause Superman's defense to magic is still somewhat weak though the Phantom Stranger did give Superman some sort of gift that protects him from some level of magical attacks"
yeah but my new ques is can safer sephy beat good ole goku
"King Saturn said:No"Sephiroth wins cause Superman's defense to magic is still somewhat weak though the Phantom Stranger did give Superman some sort of gift that protects him from some level of magical attacks"

Are we forgetting Superman can move planets....destory planets.......move faster than light? Sephiroth may have Magic but that doesnt do him any good if before he even thinks Superman grabs him flies him out into space and straight into the sun. Sephiroth is not Stronger than Superman he cant resist Supermans Strength......his Sword will do no harm to Superman....it will break trying to cut him. Superman wins this hands down? Sephiroth would die before he picks up his sword.
" Sephiroth wins cause Superman's defense to magic is still somewhat weak though the Phantom Stranger did give Superman some sort of gift that protects him from some level of magical attacks "Last I checked PS made him completely immune. As for the soul thing that won't affect Supes considering Neron has ripped out both Lobo and Joker's souls and they are just fine
superman can only move planets! he cannot destroy them. he does not have that power. fool. sephiroths sword is made from the womb of jenova. made by her cells, his sword is invincible, and it can cut trhough anything as shown in this video. there goes the invincible man of steel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6ZaSipHuO4 . his sword cannot be broken. fools. superman can move planets. sephiroth can destroy the entire universe with supernova! sephiroth one winged angel has to cast the death sell and superman is done for. i can name tons of characters stronger than superman.
This show how overrated Sphiroth is and people say Master Chief is overrated, cmon, he could beat Sephiroth in any place and at any level.
Superman is Chrithopher Reeve, then Superman wins, since he beat Zod and Zod is so much better taht Sephiroth that is not funny and is funny at the same time.
FF7 = The Most overrated game of all times.
Sephiroth can destroy a planet too. A solar system as well, but that would take time. And he actually utilizes his speed more often than not. He's got time and space manipulation as well.
Sephiroth wins.
Sephiroth is not as smart as Batman.
or at least as cool as Robin, even Robin could stompo Sephiroth
Oh boy, there's some misinformation going on here.

"huh wered you hear that"
have you played Final Fantasy? Seph had acess to every single spell in the game, and one of them did that. He didnt in Advent Children because he was just a plot device
Safer Sephiroth did not have every spell in the game. Look again:

Note how the Death spell isn't listed here.

Sephiroth wins. How, exactly, does the fact that Sephiroth have magic make this a win for him? Yes, Superman does have an invulnerability to magic, but you're ignoring Superman's insane speed, strength, etc. by just saying "LOL MAGICZ, SEPHY WINZ!1!!!12". For Sephiroth's magic to mean anything, we need proof that he has the durability to take hits from Superman and/or the speed to avoid him. Given the fact that Cloud was able to solo him in Advent Children, I don't think it would be terribly difficult for Superman to do the same. Hell, while we're at it, if fucking TIFA can hit Safer Sephiroth, then there is no way that Superman will have a problem doing so.
Speaking of Tifa, this is a good time to point out that most of Safer Sephiroth's magic cannot one-shot any of your party members if they are decently leveled up. Some of these party members include: the girl next door with peak human abilities at best, a talking dog/whatever the hell it's supposed to be, a robot cat & moogle, a teenage girl ninja thief, and a pissed off astronaut who happens to have the ability to jump like a Dragoon. While most of these guys have decent feats in their own right, they're still human and have the same kind of invulnerability to magic that Superman has, so it's hard for me to imagine Sephiroth having a significant edge.

Sephiroth wins.
Sephiroth cannot destroy a solar system. Ultimania states that Supernova is only an illusion. Plus, if Sephiroth could actually destroy the solar system with that attack, then you would instantly lose the fight after the animation is finished. Fun facts: Sephiroth can use this attack multiple times, it has no affect on the story, and it is literally impossible to die from this attack.
Batman has never canonically beaten Superman (hint: TDKR is not canon). Also, the one time Batman has "beaten" Superman, it was a morals on Superman that was concerned for his friggen health. Also, even with Superman barely trying to fight back, he still needed help from Green Arrow to beat him.
I'd simply repost CitizenBane's blog, but it seems like it's been taken down. Bummer.

Sephiroth has magic to slow and stop time
Safer Sephiroth does not have access to the Stop spell. Slow is a potential status ailment you can get from being hit by Supernova, but Safer Sephiroth does not have access to the Slow spell, either, so he cannot do this purely out of free will. Even then, Slow only cuts down a character's speed by half and Superman at half his speed is still incredibly faster than Sephiroth, given the fact that Sephiroth can get hit by any of the party members during the final battle (or if you want a purely story related example and not a gameplay one, look up his battle with Cloud in AC and tell me with a straight face that Superman would have a more difficult time hitting Sephiroth than Cloud did). Also, Sephiroth needs time to cast the spell in the first place (or in gameplay terms, he needs to wait until his time meter is filled). Superman could just destroy him before he gets the chance to do anything.
Tifa is not peak human. She hits with the force of a nuke and can punch Hollow Bastion hard enough to shake it.

What could Tifa be besides a peak human? She's not born to a special race of people and she doesn't have any Jenova cells. The game also makes it specifically clear that she's able to fight because she was taught by the martial arts master, Zangan how to fight.
Also, when did she ever "hit with the force of a nuke" in the FFVII universe? And anything from KH is irrelevant as it's non-canon. Besides, if you're referring to this:
Then Tifa will get to witness Superman's super laughter as he roflstomps her.
Stated by the official guide.
And she's only human because she is human, just like Krillin. I don't know too many regular humans who can recover from being sent flying from Loz that quickly (Loz felled a tree with his fist, stopped a motorcycle with his boot, and caused a small quake by punching the ground) or can demolish a thrown pew like that.

The "official guidebook" was written by Brady Games, not Squaresoft. They were explaining her 4th limit break using hyperbole. If Ultimania mentions it as a legitimate feat, then get back to me (and if she could really hit with the force of a nuclear explosion, then she should have never lost the fight with Loz to begin with).
Either way, we're deviating from the actual point here - Tifa, along with the other party members (aside from maybe Vincent), have significantly less impressive feats than Superman, yet they were able to help take down Bizarro Sephiroth and Safer Sephiroth.
@lollercoaster9000: Fair enough.
