man, more awesome lists. Albert Wesker and Garrison Dane are awesome.

Most of these are a combination of tactical utility and personality. For instance, although I love Cable, I'd have to choose Deathstroke over him because he has better gear, is faster etc.

k4tzm4n: Ord (Marvel) - Fighting Skill, Dual Barbed Blades, Incredibly durable armor.
Geraldthesloth: Green Arrow (DC) - Trick Arrow Utility, Putting arrows into orcish heads.
Sparda: Elder Predator (Video Games) - Tracking, Recon, Stealth takedowns, Variety of weapons.
Vance Astro: Black Tarantula (Marvel) - Healing, Tank, Could overpower anything.

@The Dark Huntress: I do like Exiles Blink myself actually. Kinda wish she was in a main X-Men book so I could read about her more often. I'd probably use Black Canary in this scenario just because teleporters aren't allowed to teleport the ring bearer, which takes away a lot of her protective utility.

You're welcome to make your own fellowship. It's mostly just a fun thing though, there isn't really a 'battle' component. But you could post a strategy for the ring quest if you like.

@Ferro Vida: Neither are as good at detecting.

Neji Hyuga can see 360 degrees for miles around, he can see through things and he can focus on things down to a microscope even if they're miles away and hidden inside a forest. His chi manipulation allows him to blast things backwards like telekinesis or make himself completely invulnerable by spinning while releasing the energy. He can hit a person in over 300 pressure points in under 1 second. He was the best choice, that's why you got him.

You could read about it here. It's basically a very precise palm strike with chi blasting outward at the same time to knock a person off their feet. His 'force field' looks like this. It's basically the same energy just in a radial motion.

@Ferro Vida: Yeah, I wanted to put you as Daredevil put I felt like he lacked heavy offensive abilities. I'm sure he'd easily defeat hordes of orcs but his standard equipment is just a pair of billy clubs.

Tactically Neji means you don't have to walk around blind, won't have a vulnerability to sonics or loud noises and get some Iron Fist level martial arts, chi manipulation, super speed and some ninja tools in your standard equipment. I'll rethink it though, perhaps there is a character with similar abilities that doesn't set off your "f@ck naruto" trigger. Tactically, we already have Black Panther (Static) and an Elder Predator (Sparda) on the team so we shouldn't have much trouble detecting most enemies.

Hydro-Man is probably within the rules, depending on your interpretation of 'more durable than Luke Cage'.

I wouldn't like to be the guy who goes on a 4 year journey on foot who can also evaporate on a hot afternoon though.

Edit: oh yeah, also for Power Nexus, you can't be Nightcrawler yourself. Because you could just teleport hundreds of miles in a few minutes. The ringbearer can't have flight/teleportation type powers. You have to personally walk.
