Father (from Taken) vs Joker

Joker has kidnapped the Father's daughter and the Father will hunt down the Joker before Batman gets to him 1st. Can the Father do it? 
 
Joker has about 100 henchmen, but they are scattered about in the area where they are protecting Joker and guarding the cell that holds the Father's daughter.

Joker holds a gun to the daughter's head and tells the father "do what I say and nobody gets hurt."

Joker proceeds to shoot him in the head, he then pistol whips her to death while eating a pie.
