This is a very interesting fight. I don't know enough about Blink's limits to say how she would do against Sue. Col vs Thing is as even a fight as is possible. Fire vs Ice is close but I think Ice has a slight edge. Wolv and Mr. Fan with out prep is a draw or atleast one hell of a drawn out fight. So I'm very curious as to what others say about this fight.

How? Thing has significantly better strength feats than Colossus.

Giving it too the ff due to Johnny and Sue.

@jedixman: Thing and Colossus are even in almost ever way.

And what feats does Colossus have to put him anywhere near Thing's strength level? Thing casually tossed a car spinning through the air and held up the London Eye. Colossus has nothing close to that.

They dont have an answer for Sue.

X-men and Blink is the MVP. Even with moral on Wolverine should have no problem killing them, he has never hesitated. Blink could just teleport Wolverine behind each of the FF and he kills them. Blink should also be able to make portals inside Sue’s shield. So, for example, Iceman could should a beam through portal A and it comes out through portal B that just happens to be inside Sue’s shield, thus taking her out her. Blink can use her portals to divert the FF’s attacks back to each other. Blink could also do the teleporting trick she did with Colossus in the movie and have him fall on any of the FF. Noting that Sue and Johnny have normal durability, an attack like this yould take them out.

Iceman can neutralize Reed by freezing him, the same way Dr. Doom did, and Wolverine’s claws should be able to penetrate the Thing’s “skin”.

Johnny has the most power, but with morals on, he would not go nova unless Sue shields his attack leaving her vulnerable.

Well, the only one who can stop reed is Iceman. Does thing have the strength to rip apart Colossus? How do they Kill the Thing? How do they Kill Wolverine? This may just be a LONG drawn out slugfest that doesn't end.

X-men.

Wolverine can kill Thing.

Bobby shuts down Reed entirely and quickly.

Colossus can hold his own against Johnny

Blink can hold her own and potentially beat Sue, though this is more debatable.

It comes down to Sue v.s Everyone, which I don't think she would win. As strong as her FF are, she's holding off 2 potential one shots and 2 crippling opponents.

Reed, if playing smart, can smother or incap Wolverine.

Colossus beats Thing. Thing had massive strength feats in FF2, but Colossus' is quicker with better H2H. He wins, IMO.

Iceman beats Torch if he goes DoFP mode. This goes either way.

Fantastic and maybe Torch vs Colossus, Kitty and Iceman, X-Men win. Kitty traps Fantastic, and then Colossus and Kitty beat Johnny.

Good luck to the F4 trying to put Wolverine or Colossus down .

@thesilentripper: wolverine and blink are the xmens biggest advantages. The thing and tin man are equal i thinks. Torch is much better than the ice one. Mr fantastic will only be useful for strategy and maybe a little help. Sue is gonna be a little tough. I think x men take this.

I feel like x men take this. They actually have a huge advantage in blink, but if either team plays their cards right, then that's the team that will win

It all depends on the matchups.

If you go the route of:

• Blink vs Invisible Woman
• Wolverine vs Mr. Fantastic
• Colossus vs The Thing
• Iceman vs Human Torch

Then Fantastic four take it. Blink's powers are dangerous when she's on the defensive, however Sue's abilities are very specific in how she targets/can't really be redirected. She could easily cut off Blink's access to oxygen to incap her.

Wolverine vs Mr. Fantastic is a really interesting fight, but Reed's speed at wrapping up Ben and preventing him from moving leads me to believe that he could easily do the same to Logan (who is much weaker) and negate his claws. After that, well, he can either suffocate him into unconsciousness or keep him restrained.

Thing vs Colossus is easy, Ben has Piotr outclassed in every way. Likewise for Torch vs Iceman, Johnny is just to mobile/powerful.

However, X-Men can win. This is IMO their best matchup:

Blink vs Johnny (Redirects his power/sends him to the ocean/cuts him off whilst flying).
Wolverine vs The Thing (Thing's durability doesn't seem to put him above adamantium level).
Iceman vs Mr. Fantastic (Freeze him like Doom did)

Then have them team up on Sue.

However, long term I give the majority to the FF, probably 7/10.

as far as the obvious matchups go...

Reed vs Logan - Reed can't really be cut through and should easily be able to incapacitate Logan in the same way he did Ben in the first film.

Sue vs Clarice - Sue goes invisible, Clarice can't really do anything about it and she won't be able to anticipate her force field attacks.

Johnny vs Bobby - Johnny has better mobility than Bobby due to flight and has much better power output, the best Bobby can do is survive until Johnny decides to go nova.

Ben vs Peter - Ben has better strength and durability feats, not much else to be said there.

It's pretty much a clean sweep with these matchups.

All out, none of these X-Men have a counter for the Fantastic Four's ranged attacks, at the very least Sue could have the whole team invisible and provide shielding while Johnny snipes them down. Clarice's only chance of locating anyone will be through Logan sniffing them out and if she can accurately pinpoint someone's, she can port Logan to them. But honestly, Sue and Johny can each take out everyone on their own individually while Bobby would take out Reed and Logan would take out Ben without Sues protection. All things considered, the Fantastic Four should easily have this in the bag.

Morals off, couldn't johnny go supernova and just kill everyone! I mean he see's jos teammates dying and just burns out all oxygen on the planet or sue contains the four like Doom and then goes supernova again.

I don't see how the X-men beat that, Blink maybe be able to teleport them out but am leaning towards fantastic four here.

colossus is the weak link xmen wise since hes nerfed in the movies and sucks, but i still see xmen taking this due to ice man canceling out reed and thing pretty quickly, maybe even sue if she doesnt get her shield up quick enough (alba sue wasn't anything special either) so its basically supernova johnny vs iceman, blink and wolverine.
