isn't a balrog op as crap in the books. I have a lot of friends who literally think gandalf takes goku i really don't know enough about LOTR power ratings to answer here.
its balrog, and Gandalf is basically a lesser angel, or god of LOTR, he was sent to help the basic races evolve, he defeated Balrog with use of his magic-infused sword, and his regular magic. Balrog is a direct decendent of one of valur, specifically melkor, they are almost unkillable, that why Gandalf could fight him since he is one of the valur's descendants. Things punches would do nothing to him, TP would most likely not even work on him. Reed stands the best chance if the others can hold him back until Reed can try and come up with something.
