For the Colonial Marines...Pre War technology far exceeds Colonial Marines technology, The Power Armor soldiers were basically a nunch of War Machines.

I see you've read @keenko post.
Yea ABC logic FTW!
@neongamewave opinions?
@killerwasp: @wut: I know this post might seem a bit late but I want to talk about the T-51bs and how they are comparable to tanks.
If the T-51bs are comparable to tanks and require tank fire power to kill then now come guys with T-51b power armor lost to these guy:
Who fire these:
Maybe @m_man can explain it better LOL!
@jwwprod: Weak armor? fairly simple lol, kinda like how decepticons in the transformers movies would be hurt by lesser weapons? Simple durability lol.

Never said T-51b power armor was weak but wut said "for almost all the armies here, to put down said Powered Armored men is going to take their heaviest anti-tank weaponry" yet guys with T-51b power armor apparently have been taken out by NCR Troopers with Service rifles and Rangers with Cowboy repeaters, unless those said Service rifles and Cowboy repeaters fire rounds that can cut through Tank armor like a hot knife through butter :P

In that case he must also hate almost every other army here as well.
@jwwprod: He does, very much so dont ask why either. XD
I'm not entirely sure what's being discussed but concerning the T-51b power armor and the BoS's loss to the NCR, the BoS were able to dispatch the NCR pretty handily for the most part for several years thanks to their advanced tech. It was explicitly stated that the reason why the NCR eventually won was through attrition. The NCR can always recruit/hire more manpower after casualties but the BoS on the other hand were extremely selective with who joined. Because of this, the NCR completely outnumbered them and managed to push them back into Hidden Valley.
In terms of the T-51b's durability, I doubt it requires anti-tank rounds just to damage them but the power armor is in fact bullet proof. Some of the T-51b's specs were revealed in a note found in the original Fallout. The armor can absorb 2,500 Joules of kinetic impact. When they were taken out by NCR, they probably used explosives which they have plenty of. Their guns might have also worn out the armor eventually but I'm not sure.

Yea that's pretty much what happened with the whole BoS vs NCR thing. I believe the BoS also assisted the NCR when they were at war with the Enclave.
I also never said the T-51b power armor was weak nor not bullet proof in fact even during gameplay it takes a few clips from an assult rife just to kill one power armor enemy (Whether it be T-45d, T-51b or Enclave power armor) but I was disagreeing that it would take tank fire just to kill a T-51b as well as T-51b's being on par with tanks.
@m_man: The talk was, if they were so bullet proof, then they shouldn't be dying to NCR weapons well the rifles up top period or tanking damage, that was the point jwwprod was trying to make XD
@jwwprod:If we are talking about the NCR, the forces in the Mojave are a tiny fraction of the NCR's army. The Mojave was an unpopular war which was often lacking in manpower and supplies due to bureaucracy. The Brotherhood war was still going on in California which had more of their attention.
If you are talking about how they beat the Brotherhood in that battle, they outnumbered them vastly, are experienced in fighting Brotherhood of Steel (so have experience with power armor), and I have no doubt they brought heavy weapons to flush them out. Then you remember that said armor is hundreds of years old, this is ancient armor the Brotherhood is bringing back (the sheer fact it still works is astonishing), and, well, it starts to make a bit of sense.
@wut: Oh yea I know during the battle of Helios One the NCR out numbered the BoS 20 to 1 and that it was only a small fraction of the NCR (Hench why it was stated that their was way more NCR forces during the actual game than at the battle of Helios One).
I was always wandering that maybe T-51b's during the Sino-American War was more powerful than the T-51b's currently used by the BoS since they were brand new and in better condition during the Sino-American War.
@merulezall@army2442 opinions?
@jwwprod: wow can't believe i missed this, mhhh honestly wut has the right idea, I don't know enough about fallout though to make a 100% fair judgement tbh. It is a good series though, can't wait for fallout 4, but sadly I'm one of those fans that played only Fallout 3
Hay @tularianroman what's your opinion on this battle?
idk how the tags didn't work out, sorry jwwprod, but anyway.
Theeeeerrrrrrreeeeee we gooo. Btw, @jwwprod, nice thread. One of the best gauntlets I've seen.
