VERSUS
Ghost Rider takes it IMO.
lordraiden says:
"Ya think so?"
Yeah, Etrigan could'nt even beat Green Arrow. Ghost Rider can tell his Bike to run over Etrigan and what about the "Penace Stare"?
Doctor Dare says:
"lordraiden says:Etrigan has taken on the likes of Lobo and superman, not to mention has enough cunning and power to take over hell in his own series!"Ya think so?"Yeah, Etrigan could'nt even beat Green Arrow. Ghost Rider can tell his Bike to run over Etrigan and what about the "Penace Stare"?"
Methos says:
"Ghost Rider has power true But against Etrigan he is still new... and Ghost Rider will soon realize his options are few... M"
Whoah! that was very well done, i'm impressed! hats off to ya! Has Etrigan been bonded to ya?
Blaze go down but then, once safety go off and Zarathos himself emerges, you get a good match. Etrigan vs Zarathos, I'll go with Zarathos

Zarathos in Charge could PS Etrigan into a KO.
I doubt the penance stare would do anything to him.
Etrigan should definitely win this. Rather easily actually.
@Doctor Dare: Way to lowball Etrigan. Etrigan's pinned Wonder Woman, punched Superman literally to the moon, and he's matched strength with Lobo.
Depends... If Ghost rider's safety switch is on then etrigan has more chance of beating him but if the switch is off then this is a godstomp for ghost rider. "he is godlike" like dr strange said in WWH.
I couldn't imagine any version of Ghost Rider taking out Etrigan except the Zadkiel powered Ghost Rider, whom Stephen Strange pegged as one guy who could've taken out WW Hulk.
I think you mean Zarathos, not Zadkiel.I couldn't imagine any version of Ghost Rider taking out Etrigan except the Zadkiel powered Ghost Rider, whom Stephen Strange pegged as one guy who could've taken out WW Hulk.

@CadenceV2: Maybe they retconned it now. But in the comic he mentioned it was Zarathos. But then again, that was before Ghost Rider was an Angel.
GR he won't lose to either Etrigan or Lobo and if Zarathos is in control he wins this with ease i can say.

Etrigan is like Lobo, with hellfire and magic.
Heck,Jason Blood can beat Ghost Rider..
^This.
I will go with Etrigan. I don't see Penance Stare or hellfire working on an actual demon -- particularly not one as powerful as Etrigan, who can give the devil a run for his money and has on several occasions. In RiH he was directly compared to Neron, and in Demon Knights he was managing to make things tricky for Lucifer.
Evidence of Ghost Rider being able to withstand hellfire attacks?Ur very ignorant of ghost rider. There are two power levels of ghost rider....the human host(Johnny Blaze) which limits the full powers of ghost rider. And then there's the spirit of vengeance(Zarathos) who is exponentially stronger and is able to use its full power. Zarathos is the spirit of vengeance that is bonded to Johnny Blaze which is ghost rider.
And why is Zarathos relevant? He's been dead for decades.
Well if that's how u feel. That how I spell my ur because I hate spelling out the whole word. I keep my comments short. I don't care whether all my credibility goes out the window. I made my point and u understand what I'm saying.....so that's all that matters to me@ghost_rider1: I hope you realize that the instant you say 'ur', all credibility goes out the window, no matter how well-thought your post is.
@ZoomGrammar aside, you are incorrect.Evidence of Ghost Rider being able to withstand hellfire attacks?Ur very ignorant of ghost rider. Zarathos and Blaze were separated at the end of Ghost Rider Vol 1, probably before you were born.
Zarathos returned in the 90s during the "Siege of Darkness" crossover, which took place during Ghost Rider Vol 2. At the end of the crossover, the Midnight Sons killed him and turned him to stone.
Blaze was later bonded to the spirit of vengeance, apparently an angel. This is a totally different entity than Zarathos, who I don't believe was even mentioned in Ghost Rider Vol 3.
Somehow, ignorant people on comic forums started calling the spirit of vengeance "Zarathos" but they have never been the same character.

The only people Immune to the PS to any degree is Souless people and those under Zadkeil protection. Thats it.
COUGHVenomCOUGH.
@GrandSymbiote94: I remeber it still hurt Venom. Just didnt KO him or put him down with the pain.
In the end Venom was spanked.
@CadenceV2: I was talking about this:
He still felt pain from the stare. But it didn't do the full damage. That's still a good feat for Venom IMO.
@GrandSymbiote94: It is a good feat. I'm just saying the Penance Stare worked still but not in the full way as it would have a Non Symbiot.
The spirit of vengeance is zarathos. I explained this to someone before but it takes too much explaining. I don't feel like typing that much again. It's not. Zarathos died in the 90s. He never came back. He's not even mentioned in the entire book we're talking about, here. The very first post on the thread shows a scan, saying the SoV is an angel. Zarathos is not an angel.
