@i_like_swords: Thanks, its good, but I need to get my respect thread completed more so EW's feats are out there.
@allstarsuperman: Ninjak needs a damn solo series pronto. Is it true he fought Shadowman in Shadowmans own current series?
@i_like_swords: IDK, dont read it. Ninjak is featured pretty heavily in Unity anyway though, but a solo would be cool.
Team 2 for now. I have been reading more Jason stuff and he is badass. Gilad has the best physicals buy far but he has no tech at all really.
Eternal sort of lacks the skill feats to suggest he can beat either on the opposing team, but his durability, healing and multiton strength should allow him to hang in there. Ninjak should beat Red Hood but lose to Bucky, I would think. He needs more showings of skill, and more depth to his training and what not. Although he could certainly snag some wins over Bucky.
@i_like_swords: Ninjak never fought Shadowman that I remember btw.
Shadowman is not a good battle board character anyway. All of his cool powers are used on undead creatures.
@fallschirmjager: Ah okay. I had just remembered someone saying it. Seems unlikely anyway.. Their character/story's are pretty different.
Yeah. He's good in battles that involve characters that use magic/supernatural powers like him though. Not that there are many of those...
@i_like_swords: I think he punched through a guy's head once, so he's low-super.
I totally got lazy with his respect thread lol
@i_like_swords: why should Ninjak beat Jason? And yes Jason has reacted to stealth attacks and has his own feats of stealth.
@fallschirmjager: Yeah, he's at least a 2 tonner+, practically bulletproof, heals, has a decent level of natural skill and AoE attacks which I think work on physical beings.
Same with my Ninjak one haha.
@i_like_swords: He got set on fire too and was fine :)
@allstarsuperman: I'm not in too good a place to debate just now, cause I'm about to head out, but I'll pick this up when I get home.
@jonny_anonymous: not Bucky. Bucky has tanked hits from 50s Captain America.
@allstarsuperman: EW was rocking armstrong with his punches and Armstrong his possibly the strongest person in the Valiant universe
@jonny_anonymous: yeah I know. But the guns and accuracy from both of team 2 is enough to give them the advantage. In pure H2H he could win, but the tech like batarangs EMPs and mini bombs are all working against him.
Jason one shots
Calm your self. Eternal Warrior is a super strong immortal warrior that has lived since the beginning of civilization, he's survived being nuked, tanked explosions that sent him flying through the air and smashing through buses and cars and walls and stood up without a scratch, he's walked along the ocean floor from one continent to another. Jason is not one shotting anything.

It... it was a joke T_T

In his classic run he had ta high end feat of tanking the explosion of a German V2 rocket factory, and he just walked right through it. But as I said its a good fight and EW could actually beat Jason, but then again Jason has all that training, tech, and skill. Gilad has never shown pressure points or anything of the like. But his strength is enough to casually snap Superhuman Werewolfs necks, punch through pillars, and kick through armored vans, so its a good fight all around imho.
All Blades for the win
I'll throw in some Jason feats from his respect thread
Fights Batman, Kills aliens& takes out Lady Shiva.
@allstarsuperman: New 52 Jason is awesome
@allstarsuperman: New 52 Jason is awesome
He was awesome before the New 52 as well. I loved all his showings except Grant Morrisons zit covered ginger version. But then Winick still made it work later on. I was amazed when he taught himself a punch that can turn gods into mortals.

I agree. He was already my favorite DC character before the new 52
@i_like_swords: why should Ninjak beat Jason? And yes Jason has reacted to stealth attacks and has his own feats of stealth.
Ninjak can edge him out without stealth. Well that's the argument I'll make, anyway. Supposing Ninjak is just as fast and skilled as Jason (if not moreso, after we compare feats) I'd make the argument that he has more useful gear.
This is discluding Jason breaking Submarines with one hit, and all his alien/magic junk that apparently solos everyone...
@i_like_swords: You want to do a CaV Ninjak vs Jason sometime? I want to. If so I wouldn't be able to do it for at least a month, I'd need to reread and write down Jasons feats and collect scans, but it sounds like a cool fight.
@allstarsuperman: I was thinking about that earlier actually. Ninjak has decent enough feats now that I think I can make a good case for him against most street levellers. I'm down for it. A months time sounds good to me. I'm gonna make a PM for us then save it to my shortcuts so I remember.
@i_like_swords: okay cool. If you want you can use Classic feats as well.
@allstarsuperman: *shrugs* sure, it'd make my life easier haha. I suppose it's the same as using Pre/New 52 Slade together.
*runs off to go look at classic feats again*
On paper team 1 would win but since they both dont have the feats... team 2
Basically....poor Ninjak :(

It's basically just a lack of "skill" feats - fighting people who themselves have notable martial skill. Although, Ninjak with classic + current feats is easily in Bucky's tier in overall combat effectiveness.
@i_like_swords: :p I just noticed it said old and new Valiant feats, OLD ninjak was quite skilled and able to handle a Bloodlusted Bloodshot.
@lukehero: Ha, I only just noticed that.
Well, in terms of martial skill - Classic Ninjak knew every nerve strike on the human body (or at least, every nerve strike derived from Japanese martial arts) and was able to apply them to a multi-ton, superhumanly fast (in the context of the Valiant universe), mutate without getting hit. He also knew nerve pinches which can knock out a human being instantly. Reboot Ninjak has stopped a man's heart with a single strike. These are showings of skill beyond what Bucky or Jason have produced to my knowledge, although it's worth noting that he would have a tough time landing one of these blows (although it's not impossible).
He's a solid handgun-bullet timer, and machine gun aim dodger, and has shown on multiple accounts that he has the chops to take on opponents who have superhuman strength and speed beyond his two opponents here (although the same can be said for them too).
He has some extremely useful gear too, such as scanners, bullet/fireproof suit, cloaking, trick-shurikens/coins, a sword which can vibrate on a supersonic frequency, holograms, knockout gas, sai, various spikes protruding from his suit and the occasional explosive.
In terms of strength, he has bloodied a metahuman with a Wolverine-esque healing factor, and cracked bulletproof glass, so he's decent there.
I dunno, with all of his feats Ninjak is really up there.
Have you got scans for classic Ninjak vs Bloodshot? Or at least an issue number? I've only read Ninjak's classic series.
@the_man_with_questions: That was Frank Miller who wrote that. But yeah I don't think Morrison really understood Jason like Winick did.
I still don't like him anymore. I want Scott Loddel writing Jason. I loved his work on to write Jason. His work on Superman was awesome.
@i_like_swords: Yeah I got scans, Bloodshot got taken over by another nanite solider then went all crazy, and was seriously amped from Bloodlust.
Ninjak then cured him and gave Bloodshot some amps. Quite the scientist mofo Classic Ninjak was. Anyway, I'll go get some scans of their encounter from my comixology account, after I make a post in my CA1 vs Me rematch CAV.

Me too. Lobdell grew Jason as a character and gave him more backstory, my only problem is how "Joker was behind everything from the start" that was just stupid, I consider it non canon. And his Superman work was trash other then H'el on Earth imho.
IDK enough about Ninjak has he done anything really cool?? I'm thinking if WS and Redhood lose it will be Jason's fault IMO.
I personally enjoyed H'el on Earth. I wish Scott didn't get based for this one comic run when he has plenty of other great runs. And at least the Joker thing isn't as bad as that garbage they just pulled in Robin Rising Omega.
I haven't been reading, so whats up?
Apparently Batman died at one point and then they showed all the Final Crisis crap about Batman time traveling and apparently Dick Grayson was Batman at one point but you know. Continuity folks.
@the_man_with_questions: Why is that a problem? Do you not like any of Morrison's work at all?
