Esquire's Semifinals: CadenceV2 vs Fetts (Voting!)

Reading through this, I going for CadenceV2. It was a fantastic debate and quite entertaining. I also really want to debate against @fetts

Also @cadencev2 why do you think that they scrapped the ACP rounds for 9 by 19 Nato round concerning American Handguns, seeing as you mentioned it in your debate. ACP has better stopping power, and technology exsists for recoil absorbing tech. Heck the American Vector has this tech, as does the AN-94.

I debated against both of them and lost, both have extensive knowledge about the characters, and did a pretty good job showing us what they are capable of. I believe that Fetts did the best job considering all the rules, addons and general settings, as well as characters capabilities, I think that his combo and strategy surpass by a little Cadence team.

@fetts@cadencev2 congratulations to both of you! It´s always good to see a debate of such higher level!

@laflux: Has to do with money. At the end of the day the best gear is limited by military budgets and cutbacks during peacetime.

I'm going with Fetts, for pure debating skill, although it was very close. I think Cadence could actually have made a better argument in support of Black Panther's armor, which is such a great add-on, to be honest. But on the other hand I was glad to see him actually try to make a case for the often-maligned SHIELD agents!

Hmmm...took me quite a while to read through everything. While I think @cadencev2 displayed an awesome (and comparatively better) set of evidence, and maybe even a slightly better grasp of his characters (the specificity of some of those scans was hela impressive) I'd have to say my vote goes to @fetts - this was an awesome debate, and for me the tie-breaker came down to a little bit better comparative analysis on Fetts' part (not that Cadence didn't do some solid analysis of his own) as well as a more specific vision of how the battle could/would shake down. Awesome debate tho

What I think we really need is some kind of stickied, permanent thread that can be used for all the tournaments, that alerts people when one of that tournament's rounds is done and ready for voting. There's too many tournies that are always going on and it's impossible to know when they're ready without constantly checking up on them.
