Elise captures Mary Jane as a sacrifice to her God, Spiderman senses something is amiss and searches the entire city of New York while trying to find the missing Mary Jane, almost hopeless Spiderman regains his determination when he hears faint and strange sounds coming from the sewers, he instinctively goes into the sewers and starts running in the direction of the alien and disturbing noises, which grow louder with each step, just then Spiderman discovers the source of the underground ruckus; a monstrous and deformed spider which size barely allows it to tread in the giant sewers of New York, along mysterious cultists and a woman with insectoid reminiscence and arachnid pseudopodia growing out of her back, Spiderman though this couldn't be worse but he was wrong, next to the hulking arachnid was Mary Jane, about to be eaten by the monstrous creature.
