Pretty sure benders win, they definitely have better control. Also Azula will, morals on, kill people without much hesitation. Toph is a massive help with her multitasking capabilities and her badger mole eye view of the situation.Terra and Aqualad are very outmatched by Toph and Katara.

Round Two Azula and Zuko solo, they have a massive amp

@jacthripper: Aqualad's got some nice fears of his own, and his enhanced stats and bio electricity could be a problem for Katara

Terra, Fire, and Static's flight gives them a maneuverability edge over everyone but Aang

Magma could make things difficult for Toph, we've seen how earth benders have difficulty with lava

Round 2 Static also gets all kinds of metal to play with, and Aqualad gets lasers and other weapons

I feel static is smart enough to carry. Plus fire cant be injured by fire and the benders can.

And plus, Terra beat Raven. Who could arguably solo the benders.

Isn't most of the Avatars Martial arts masters? It could play a part with them winning. Then again I'm not to sure.

Round One: Static and Aqualad are a tough match to beat for any of the Benders. Toph likely can't touch Static and anyone in the water is at Kaldurs' mercy. They can virtually win this by themselves, as Aang and Azula are the only real threats. Heroes take round one.

Round Two: The Benders are a bit out of their element, but not so much it's a huge disadvantage. It's a close one, but again, I see the Heroes pulling a win off.

@comicace3: Bending is based on martial arts, but only Azula and Zuko (and Aang I guess) have h2h showings

Toph does too. She has been shown to have superhuman senses and i think is a good martial artist. There was an episode where she's first introduced fighting in a club of some sort.

The benders have more power, control, and experience.

I'm not saying it would be an easy fight, but the benders should take this in my opinion.

@legacy6364: I'm not sure about experience, guys like Static should be pretty experienced. Raw power could be debatable too, Terra and Magma I know have some nice feats

How do you think the benders will overcome their mobility disadvantage against the fliers, especially Toph?

@arcus: Yes, he can temporarily short-circuit. But it shouldn't be an issue, as he can always just fly away and avoid it.

As for the Terra instance, it happened. I don't like it anymore than you do, but a feat is a feat. She beat Raven.

Doesn't mean it's what would always happen, or what should've happened. If Raven wasn't fighting her anger she could have just done to Terra what she did to Slade

Ok. Fair enough. She'd be a good match against Terra, given she is probably able to tell what you're going to do before it happens, and counter it.

And you can't that what happened isn't what should've happened, because clearly the writers of the show determined that that's what SHOULD happen.

Whether you agree With the outcome or not, it was clear who the victor was. Anger has never made Raven less powerful, in fact it often amps her. So if anything, Terra beat an emotionally unstable Raven, which is much more dangerous than normal Raven.

@jmarshmallow: Raven was spending much of the fight trying to control her anger, sometimes it makes her stronger but in this case it made her unfocused, which is why Terra (and Slade) wanted to make Raven angry in the first place

@arcus: Unfocused? What makes you say that.

She seemed perfectly focused to me. I suppose you could argue that she started the fight trying to reason with Terra, but by the end she was going all out.

@jmarshmallow: Remember how Terra was goading Raven, and Raven was trying to stay calm-"anger is pointless, my emotions are under control," she was attacking but Terra tripping her, etc? She seemed to be getting pretty unfocused. Dark Raven should have just used TK to slam Terra into the walls or just done what she did to Dr Light, but for some reason she didn't. Instead she just flung some objects around.

@arcus: Well, one could argue that she would have done that, but Terra didn't give her the opportunity to.

@alakemega123: IIRC a lot of the super heroes have comparable power feats, Aqualad and maybe Fire might be lacking but it's not a huge gap. Static, Terra, and Aqualad have all shown good control from what I remember. Aqualad has the advantage of enhanced stats and bioelectricity, while Terra, Fire, and Static all have flight. Magma could be a problem for Toph by melting the earth

Aang with Avatar State can actually take on all the Heroes. The rest of the benders loose to their opponents.

Static can just almost solo. He could just make them all stick to walls and if Azula fires her pseudo lightning at him, he can just absorb it. Aqualad and Static are just about all thats needed.

Static Cling is basically Virgil's signature move. Its his main method of incapacitation. He did it in the very first episode of the cartoon to leave some burglars for the police to find. Hell, it was even referenced on the news that the thieves were stuck to the ceiling with static energy.

And it doesn't need to be a metal surface.

Bender's Own. Anything the heroes have done the benders have shown to do it even better. Honestly even without the avatar state Aang by the end of the series could solo.

@blackwind: Interesting, so it could take down the 5 benders instantly? I'm not that familiar with Static, but from what I have seen I haven't seen him use it that frequently on so many people

Benders lose this battle.

Wasn't Aang taken out by lightning before? Arguably inferior lightning, compared to Statics and Aqualads, really. He's not gonna stop Static and Terra with the double team.

Besides, the environment gives the Heroes the advantage, both rounds.
