I don't really see a resemblance between these Skinnies and both the Eldar & Protoss to be honest.

Unless you mean by design then I still don't really see a resemblance between the Skinnies and Eldar, maybe somewhat Protoss but not really Eldar.

I always though the Eldar were like Elves in space (Though they were not the first aliens to look like Elves).

When I look at these Skinnies I actually think of Tau to be honest.

@wut: is there a reason why eldar would out do protoss because if my memory serves me right they are living energic beings do the eldar have ways of battling them effectively due to the protoss living for hundreds if not thousands of years?

@aressword: what are you talking about? The Eldar can live for hundreds and thousands of years as well, they have extremely good reflexes and are tactical geniuses with excellent weapons that'd put the Terrain Dominion to shame. If the TDs can hurt the protoss im pretty sure the eldar could as well. Anyway with the gear that the op gave the eldar the eldar would fight the protoss in a very hard fight, eldar may die to space marines, but honestly the eldar are very good fighters especially banshees and dark reapers as well.

@aressword: Protoss are not made out of energy, itself. They can, and do, get killed. They live for a long time. Eldar live for a long time. Eldar 'warriors' travel numerous paths. That normal Guardian could have very well spent a hundred years as a Striking Scorpion, then two hundred as a Banshee, then fifty as an avenger, etc.

There is no difference in the level of raw skill between a mook Protoss and a mook Eldar as both live for roughly the same amount of time. Eldrad was well over 10,000 years old before he died.

@wut: @killerwasp: yes the difference is the protoss have better tech and i'd argue better fighting skills. In addition each protoss is psionic which in turn the eldar are not, so with that in mind again the eldar are not winning this fight.

Yes, psionics, yet most Protoss cannot manifest awesome storms like you seem to think they can. Would you mind explaining to me how this suddenly gives them the win despite most protoss using Psionics mostly for their shields?

@boringperson: If they all combine, probably. :D This is more so me just pointing out to this guy that a lot of what he is saying is completely baseless. I doubt the Dark Templars will all combine, it always struck me as one of those really big decisions in their lives which is way they all don't do it.

Mind readers does help, but it doesn't make them better skilled in the least. Mind Reading helps you anticipate and counter your opponent, but it doesn't suddenly give you XP in your Sword skill.

@wut: equal tech to whom? IIRC i said equal or above the eldar, so my mind is already made and i do believe in another thread their is proof, but if you want some here some.

Being able to dodge, jump, and kill an ultralisk something the avg eldar could not do.

Being able to cut through zerg with ease and of course kill them with at such speeds i doubt the eldar got anything like this besides some specialized paths, the protoss don't need to be specialized in killing lesser zerg

creating shields that stop hydralisk spikes that could easily hit the eldar and go through them. The next one being bullets.

So, about them losing to terrain marines is usually PIS the terrains don't usually stand a chance, and this has been shown in plenty of video cut scenes and such. @tparks would u like to kindly back me up on this as well? He thinks the eldar can win, i disagree.
