ego vs the sun

ego can travel at warp drive speeds meaning he can travel faster than the speed of like. if ego flys directly towards the sun would the sun explode or will ego explode?

He would die.  He's a planet near a sun. The suns gravitional field would simply suck him in and no matter how cold he gets he would start to burn up. He may be able to escape the pull of the sun but chances are he'd would just burn up like a rock going into a bonfire.
