Edward Elric vs Korra

Ed on his own is sent after Korra who was in the middle of chasing down a rogue Earth bender in which she bumps into Ed and a fight ensues.

Ed gets 3 weeks of prep

Who wins?

Ed in somewhat of a good fight.

ed transmutes a metal dome around korra with no air holes.

Ed takes this. He's combatted every type of bending Korra can throw at him via some alchemist or homunculi. Not to mention his transmutation has no limits except for equivalent exchange and that's something he's used to dealing with.

With 3 weeks of prep Ed stomps unless Korra goes into the avatar state

Korra wins if he doesn't have prep as he was never very agile which was a nice change from the normally overskilled protagonists but then it's a bit of a stomp in his favour as an inventor with prep is normally one sided unless there up against someone a good bit stronger

Ed transmutes his arm into a gatling gun and blows Korra away. Otherwise the Avatar wins.

With prep, he stomps.

I don't think prep is that effective with Edward Elric, he doesn't utilize it in any of his appearances. The fight really depends on who's faster. Korra can easily do something between the time Edward claps his hands and touches something to transmute.
