@warlock360: I came by this thread and I know it's old and I'm not even sure if Warlock is around anymore but I would be more than happy to debate this one with you.

Lestat is in another class in terms of vampires, in fact I would go as far as to say that the vampires in Anne Rice's books are the most powerful that I've ever seen.

Lestat solos the entire twilight cast. He's seriously overpowered. Especially in the novels

@mtuske: I agree that he solos the entire twilight universe. However I don't think he's overpowered when we are talking in terms if Anne Rice vampires. There are many who make him look like a small fry

After he drank Akashas blood their weren't many above him. Marius, Armand and Magnus he fed on and surpassed. He even fed on Jesus lol and defeated Memnoch the devil. With Akashsa gone there is one above him and I can't for the life of me remember who. But I do know the number is few.

@mtuske: he absolutely is not beyond Marius, Lestat drank Akasha's blood for a short time but Marius drank her blood for 2,000 plus years.

he was well beyond Armand and Magnus but Marius, Eric, Maharet, Mekare, Khayman, Pandora and Mael were all certainly above him.

Also I wouldn't say he defeated Memnoch, he was actually terrified of Memnoch and eventually driven crazy by the experience.

If I were to rank the power levels of the remaining vampires after Akasha and Enkil died it would go as such:

1. Khayman

2. Mekare

3. Maharet

4. Marius

5. Eric

6. Pandora

7. Mael

8. Lestat

9. Thorne

10. Jessica

11. Talbot

12. Armand

The witches are also very powerful

I thought Makere and Khayman were dead for some reason. Didn't Mael commit suicide in the sun. I put Lestat ahead of Eric because I remember Eric being far more fearful than the rest of Akasha.

Off topic not sure if you know but Anne Rice has a new book Prince Lestat coming out Oct 28.

@mtuske: no they were both lost for thousands of years but they came back in QotD. They are the new King and Queen of the dead.

Mael attempted to kill himself but due to him being so powerful he basically just got a tan.

Lestat isn't ahead of Eric, Eric is 3,000 years old and has been drinking from Maharet for this time. He was fearful of Akasha because he was the one who likely would have been killed if she got pissed off; the first brood were too powerful to kill and Lestat and Marius' loved ones would be spared due to them being close to her most beloved children. Eric was the most vulnerable.

Yeah I'm going to buy the new ones, I'm still trying to catch up on te Blackwood books right now though. I've read them out of order.

@mtuske: it's been a while for me too. After I finish the series I'm going to reread them especially with the new movies coming out, I personally think it would be better as a series but l take movies

Since there seems to be a trend of Edward Cullen being put in battles that he couldn't dream of winning, I figured I would bump this one

@cregan_stark: This one is actually worse than most. The battle wouldn't even last a second. Lestat is that powerful. And I know the other posts are old, but just wanted to mention that they said Mael tried to kill himself in the sun but was too powerful, so did Lestat and he just got darker skin as well.

@randomsid: yeah Mael was too old and powerful to be killed by the sun. Lestat basiclaly got a tan.

I understand that this is a servere mismatch and I've argued in the past that Lestat probably solos the entire twilight universe. I just figured this is in line with the other spite threads involving Edward.

@those_eyes: He takes all of them, I don't see a single instance where Edward wins a round. You could throw out the entire Cullen clan and the Voltouri and Lestat still curbstomps.

@cregan_stark: Yeah, and to me Lestats attempt was more Impressive because he actually flew up as far as he could before the sun hit him trying to make sure there was no way he would survive, and he survived anyway with a little tan.

@randomsid: he certainly seems to have put more thought into his attempt than Mael did.

Mael was always an interesting character, a bit of an under achiever. Never lived up to his potential.

Alright I just created some account on who knows what but I'm literally rewatching interview. Lestat is BEYOND super Saiyan vampire. He would eat Edward the way I eat popcorn at movies. I don't even really like popcorn, but I'm in a movie theater, I'll look weird if I say "it gets all stuck in my teeth... Can I order a very rare steak?"

The ONLY ones in fiction that could beat lestat are Buffy, Karl Cullinane, (read Guardians of the Flame you heathens), Miles Morales at full power, and Dean Winchester fused with Michael. It is decided
