Who takes this supernatural battle? Ecipso has his black diamond, so he can control anyone he wants. Mephisto has all his powers.

I don't think is that much of a curbstomp, Eclipso is said to be the wrath of God and he was the Spirit of Vengeance before the Spectre. God took his Spirit of Vengeance role, because he turn to evil.
