I like some elements in both, but I prefer the Ultimate Universe, the average issue in the Ultimate Universe is better than the average issue in the universe 616, but that is subjective...
Im going biased and saying that 616 wins. The only run I liked on the Ultimate universe was Ultimates 3 penciled by Joe Mad. Other than that..........GARBAGE
If one had to disappear and the other remain I'd pick 616 over 1610. But I love the Ultimate Universe for it's alternate take on characters and events as well as parallel actions or stories.

Spidey did. As well as the entire F4. Same goes for Tony, Valkyrie, etc.

Was he?
Ultimate Peter Parker is dead, yes. But he was only presumed dead after the events of Ultimatum. Cap found him later on, and a few years later, he was killed and replaced by Miles Morales.
Edit: "Replaced" isn't really appropriate for the situation. Miles Morales was inspired and decided to take up the mantle.
