Dr. Strange vs U.S National Debt

Is it possible for Dr. Strange to cover the 16.9 Trillion dollars of the national debt? How?

Here's another battle.

If all the other nations in the world find out that Dr. Strange had somehow repaid all of the U.S debt and he doesn't help them, every one of the nations who are still in debt take their armies on Dr. Strange.

Can Dr. Strange defeat the entire world's armies? If so, how quickly can he do this?

I suppose he could take a page out of the federal reserves book and print money out of thin air and fix it momentarily.

He could if:

A) travel back to 1913 and defeat the federal reserve act

B) travel to 1933 and defeat the start of untying US currency to gold

He could use his powers to collect a tremendous amount of wealth and then pay it out.

Try telling that to the people at the federal reserve and I was joking as that being a actual solution to the problem, in fact it's a major reason for the problem in the first place. Actually yes you can. Your debt says that you'll be paid X amount of dollars. So when it's due you get X dollars. What the REAL value of those dollars is when compared to everything else doesn't matter. That's exactly what Germany did before world war 2. They inflated the hell out of their currency to give the allies a gloriously large middle finger by paying them reparation money with the devalued marks.

Dr. Strange probably could do the same by using a spell that wipe out every banks and stockmarkets data on Earth. Boom! The world's economy is reset back to zero.

Even if Strange created diamonds or payed off the debt it still wouldn't fix the problem. The government will still pay and borrow billions and billions of dollars for useless shit. The debt would be back to 17 trillion in no time. Obama alone increased more debt than the first 42 presidents in 53 terms combined. In his first term (3 years and two months; not even a full term) he increased the debt by $4.939 trillion dollars. Which was more than Bush in his two terms. Things are just going to get worse and worse until the economy finally crashes.

Is it the government?
Or the democracy of the people voting for these kinds of people to run it?

Strange can magically merge USA with China, therefore eliminating its debt, as you can't owe yourself money.

Classic Strange? I think so. Simplest way would just be to mind control major world leaders and have them forgive the debt or pay it off themselves. He could also just conjure up some gold, as someone else showed in a scan. I'm sure there are other ways.

Yes, he could. He could do it almost instantly if he wanted, with huge energy attacks, but it may result in massive casualties. To do it with minimal loss of life he may need longer. He could take out all the major commanders and leaders in a few hours crippling their armies. That would probably put an end to it, but if not he could summon an army of demons or something similar to wipe out resistance, assuming he doesn't just conjure a giant flood to wipe them out or something.
