Dr Strange vs Magneto (different scenarios)

A few battles to see how these two weigh out. I don't know how many versions of mags there is but dr strange is in his classic SS class and current.

Battle 1

current Strange vs Magneto, fight in a huge, 1000 sq mile field, 100ft apart, no morals. random encounter.

Battle 2

Classic Strange vs Magneto, fight in a decimated city, start at 300ft apart, no morals. random encounter

Battle 3

same as battle 2 but 12hrs prep time

Battle 4

same as battle 3 but current strange.

I dont believe Mags has any defense against magic no matter which Strange he faces especially not Classsic Strange

So I go which Dr.Strange

Dr.strange all day!!

I don't know much about Current Strange. But I don't think he lost THAT much power.

He lost to Magik. He loses to everyone. I don't believe he's yet to "win" a match-up. He's borderline pathetic, currently. His greatest asset at this point is probably his knowledge of the arcane, not his actual ability in it.

Current Strange loses. To just about everyone.

Classic Strange most likely wins.

Makes it 50/50.

could strange negate magneto's powers ? like scarlett witch but on a smaller scale?

It went something along the lines of:

"Hey, I'm going to knowingly follow you into your own flaming demon-infested realm of Hell or whatever where you're super powered-up and turned into a creepy demon-looking chick, as you wield a flaming sword that's super effective against my power set, and fight you."

He gets his ass handed to him, and Magik pulls some trick on the Avengers, later tossing his limp body to them.

He mutters something along the lines of, "Nah, she got the drop on me, mang."

Classic Strange wins hands down

I personally love dr strange, but doubt he will appear in films, as his classic was too OTT and his current is too nerfed, or maybe he was nerfed so he could be put on screen.

i like magneto, but with any prep im sure strange could de-magnetise him, or shut off his mutant gene, i wonder if shield of the seraphim can protect against anything of mags, since it's totally non metal or metal related i don't think mags could damage it, while im not sure if mags shield can withstand stranges powers.

Yeah....except with Magic, it's never that simple.

Magneto can defeat the weakest clone of Strange, but never the real one.
