Dr. Manhattan vs. Sentry

I thought someone might have done this, and I only skimmed the re-cap thread, so sorry if it's been done!  It seems like a pretty logical match-up, although I think a lot of you will tell me Doc Manhattan wins it.  He does seem like he can do more, but one can never tell...

We'll give 'em an entire deserted galaxy to fight in, no prep, and see what happens!

I swear to god ............. STOP USING WATCHMEN IN BATTLE FORUMS!!!!!!!!!!! That book was all talking they have basically zero feats or character development to back them up in any fight. Using them against characters with pages of feats and character development is the absolute DUMBEST thing I have seen Sentry wins due to sheer number of feats

when sentry ever beat galactus ?? i never hear that !!! Dr.Manhattan is superior in every aspect and power and ability except molecule manipulation. Sentry may able to control molecule but Dr.manhattan able to control the Time so even Sentry destroy Dr.manhattan molecule, Dr manhattan was able to reform his molecule again and Dr. manhattan was an Immortal being too

It was rumored the Sentry had the same degree of immortality, in one issue his wife took out an alien gun and blew off the Sentry's face.

In his fight vs Molecule Man we actually got to see the Sentry reform himself, this was after Molecule Man ATOMIZED him, he comes back out of nothing all angered up with an attitude like the Void

 I think the Sentry can win this, he has Manhattan beat on the speed department

That's the point. You can destroy his body and he'll just make another one. You can destroy a million of his bodies and he'll just make a million more. His bodies are like tools to him. He's a puppet master. You can't hurt him by killing his puppets.  Despite the fact that he has no feats on par with Sentry, the nature of his powers makes him impervious to blunt force or molecular manipulation. It takes magic, reality warping, or a soul attack to put him down. "

No, that's what I'm saying. His body is made out of molecules, but he is in essence a non-corporeal entity. Like Eternity or Chronos or the Shadow king (If I understand the shadow king). He is a disembodied consciousness. He uses a body to interact with others, but he doesn't need his body to survive.  He is an entity. You can destroy his body through blunt force or MM, but you cannot harm the entity itself with it. you need some higher tier abilities for that. "

Well first of all I don't know anything about Dr.Manhattan.That's first of all. Second of all if you actually read my posts you would see I already conceded that Sentry can't beat Dr.Manhattan based on what AtPhantom has told me. Why even bring up Sentry beating Ghost Rider..you're b#tching about Sentry fans being unreasonable when that's exactly what you were doing for Ghost Rider and surprise surprise you name is GHOSTpool and you have a GHOST Rider avatar.You're the unreasonable fanboy..not me.I don't even like Sentry that much.I was just baiting someone to tell me what Dr.Manhattan can do. I am unreasonablle when it comes to DeadPool i admit it but when it comes to Rider i can argue.Well im a i argue alot by The Rider coz if you actually read who is the current Rider you'll know he powerfull. "

I think it's clear so far that molecular manipulation indeed can't do much to Sentry, so I'm calling a stalemate. "

Gotta go with Manhattan on this one, mainly because I think that he was designed to be god-like. Invincible, indestructible and all that of that mess. Plus the Sentry doesn't quite have it all together up-stairs and Dr. M doesn't really have to worry about his emotions getting in the way.
