Dr Manhattan vs Doomsday H/P ......

How does the good Doc fair agianst the ultimate version of Doomsday? scenario 1 is against the ultimate brick, scenario 2 is against the ultimate brick and Superman from same series combined.

I just saw Watchmen today, and Dr. Manhattan owns everyone.

Hmm, so he own's H/P Doomsday on his own and H/P Doomsday & Superman combined?

Yes. There is no way they could hurt Dr. Manhattan. If they could destroy his body, but he would just make a new one. While he could disincorporate them both. There would be nothing for Doomsday to come back from.

H/P Doomsday managed to hurt a being of pure energy before, I don't think Hurting Manhattan is that far out of his league.

I still say Manhattan wins, but he's not invulnerable.

I wouldn't even comapre Radiant to Dr Manhattan, and Manhattan can regenerate his molecules pretty much instantly, as you saw at the end of Watchmen, when Viedt zapped him and disentegrated him, and mere minutes/seconds later, was towering over adrians hideaway and shoved his hand through the roof to get Adrian.  The more I think about it, there's absolutely nothing the two can do against Manhatten, and he can basically do to DD what Imperiex do to him, disintergrate him, something he aint comming back from :-)"

Doomsday killed Radiant by nullifying his energy. Manhattan has a body, but when this body is disintegrated then he exists as energy. If Doomsday could nullify this energy form of Manhattan, then he would win.


Imperiex destroyed Doomsday through sheer blast force, something you cannot evolve againt. Imperiex is capable of generating blasts which could level Solar systems. Manhattan never did anything to suggest he could generate this much of force.

Again, I'm not saying DD will win, i'm just saying he has a little chance.

Judging from all these arguments, I say Doomsday.

I think it would be a really long battle, but somehow the doc wins.

Dr. Manhattan is clearly one of those overrated characters because he was a big fish in a small pond.  Well Dr. Manhattan is going to get a rude awakening when he gets torn apart by Doomsday in H/P mode.

Matter Manipulation

Multiplication of himself

Intangibility

Teleportation

Size manipulation

Survival in vacuum

Ability to see past, present and future simultaneously

Limited Telepathy

Possible immortality, Survived being completely atomized, has not aged

Teleportation of other objects.

So tell me one reason that Doomsday could beat him.

doomsday cannot touch doctor manhattan. doctor manhattan is a cosmic level being, although not the best, still cosmic level

Doctor Manhattan has atom manipulation. Doomsday doesn't stand a chance, neither does Superman.

Doctor Manhatten hasn't shown that he can effect beings on doomsday level of durability the fact that he had to be transferred to the end of time because he couldn't be killed speaks volumes about his durability/adaptability.

I could honestly see doomsday evolving to the point that he could harm Dr. M just as how he adapted to Radiant's energy.

Manhattan is a poor man's captain atom in all reality.

after a thousand years of evolution, doomsday will have a chance.

Thousand of years? HP doomsday evolves on the spot, his adaptability is instant.

giving it to the Doc..from reading the comic and watching the movie..his powers are too much for DD..im pretty sure he can replicate what Imperiex did easily

highly doubt it, adaptation to spectral and radiants energy dictates otherwise. Doctor M is no where near Imperiex's level.

Dr. Manhattan should win but really only beat DD due to BFR. I can see him beating DD at first then once he regens, Dr. M will have to teleport him somewhere what I'm thinking.

Superman, as a fan of both characters we really don't know if Manhattan's powers would effect Superman on a molecular level due to his durable skin. But say that fails, he can always teleport him some where. DD will no doubt be more of an issue here.

Just my opinion being a fan and reader of all three.

Yeah, I want to see more of Dr. Manhattan and more N52 DD myself.

Dr Manhattan , he has sub-atomic manipulation , that's not a joke !! and he can also reverse Entropy ( even more scary) !!!!!!!! so a powerhouse can not do much against him :D

Doomsday

Really hard to tell when Manhattan never goes up against anyone even remotely this powerful in his universe. If we can go off of supposition then the Dr. should have this in the bag. Feats are pretty important around here though and I don't see any besides 'functional immortality' that would aid him in this scenario. (Doomsday seems to always find a way to kill people too...)

Can Manhattan mimic dumping DD at the end of time? Would he need to? Will Superman ever see why kids love cinnamon toast crunch? The world may never know.

Manhattan continues his losing streak.
