Dr. Manhattan (movie) vs. Vision w/Mjolnir (MCU)

The watchmen vs. avengers street leveler fight got me thinking about what IMO are the two most OP members of their teams.

-Vision has the mind gem, obviously, and it can be used in any way it has been used in the MCU thus far (to include how it was used as Loki's sceptre)

-Vision IS WORTHY, and has Mjolnir.

-Feats from the movies only; fight to incap or death (are either of these guys even mortal?), in-character, no BFR.

Since Vibranium hasn't been thoroughly explored in the movies, let's allow comic feats/stats for the VIBRANIUM ITSELF (only) that Vision is made of.

Dr manhattan deatomizes vision.

Dr Manhattan never destroyed anything or anyone on the atomic scale... He just made people explode

I think Manhattan or stalemate. He doesn't need his body so Vision can destroy it over and over and there's no benefit.

Manhattan should be able to fry the internal circuitry or whatever is inside vision or else TP the mind gem to him. I don't think Vision is completely made of vibranium just his outer body.

I know manhattan is a tad featless but come on. Hes still a reality warping god

I think it could go either way, but I'm leaning towards Dr. Manhattan because of his atomizing powers.

Stalemate.

Vision hasn't shown anything that could defeat Dr Manhattan and we don't know if Dr Manhattan's powers would work on Vision.

Yeah but attacks on an atomic scale are very different than other forms of attacks. Just being durable isn't enough, a character needs feats of resisting one of these attacks to say they could.

@kute: yeah he is. Dr manhattan is underrated on comicvine. Also it is said that manhattan is connected to the universe itself. Somebody must be a universe buster to destroy him completely

Because this is "MCU" Vision. Why give him an amp that's outside of the MCU?

I'm curious as to what the Mind Gem could do to Manhattan. he doesn't experience time (or anything) the way humans do. I wonder if that would hold a bearing on how suseptible he'd be to mind r*pe.

If anyone thinks Dr Manhattan is doing anything to comic vibranium, just go live you beautiful creature. The guy made normal humans and a tank explode... Wow. He didn't even de-atomise anything lol

What was the mechanics of him imploding objects? Cant he just teleport stuff anyways? A reality warper who can walk on the sun and see the future and disintigrate things vs a featless android with a magic hammer

Dr Manhattan has no feats to suggest he could harm Vision.

Either vision wins, or it's a stalemate.

Dr. Manhattan has a few ways he could try to take down Vision. Vision has no ways to even attempt to take down Manhattan.

Manhattan could mess with the non-adamantium portions of Vision's body. He could teleport the soul gem away from Vision. He could teleport Vision into the sun or some other place. By contrast Manhattan doesn't even need a body. Nothing Vision can do will put Manhattan down.

Vision can't do anything to the Doc who doesn't need a body to survive. He's unbeatable here.

The mcu wank is real this is a stalemate what is vision going to do to a guy who regenerated from being de atomized in seconds

based on what? when did vision atomize someone with the hammer? thor's feats aren't vision's feats

even then manhattan can rebuild himself from nothing. mcu vision has nothing on dr manhattan
