Dr.Doom probably knows of venom's weakness. He probably would have a sonic device ready for venom.

Doom just detonates a sonic bomb which will probably kill the symbiote.

Or venom would step on a sonic mine which kills the symbiote then eddie or gargan steps on a normal mine which kills them.

Well if nobody knows anything about the other, and it's just a strait up one on one fight. Venom because of his physical stats and I don't remember Doom carrying any sonics with him. Flamethrowers, maybe but I don't think it's going to effect Venom that much. But if Doom knows, Venom's dead.

Doom's personal force field was made to protect him from the Thing so Venom would have some serious trouble getting to Doom before Doom figured out how to kill him.
