Dr. Doom vs Thanos (Chess)

Both are given 1 week of prep time to study/master/practice the game. Neither are given any gear to amp or boost their intel, or are able to time travel to forsee the outcome. Who will have the better strategy? Who will be deemed the winner?

I'm pretty sure both could whip any real life chess wiz, so the prep is useless. I believe this will result in a lot of stalemates, but I think Thanos will win more than Doom by a margin. I think.

Its....kinda hard to say who would win in a game of chess. There are a lot of factors to think about.

I'd say that if they played 10 games, each would win 5.

Thanos is smarter but Doom have much more experience with chess
