Superman is too fast and strong for Doom. Doom's magic wont have any power against Superman either.

yeah superman can easy take out doom but dr doom have a history of stealing people powers like silver surfer, and odin he can do the same with superman.

Odin and Surfer's powers are different from Superman's.

Odin's is mystical and Surfer's is cosmic, whereas Superman's is due to absorbtion of Solar Radiation + his Kryptonian physiology.

it don't matter if superman powers are different from odin and surfer it don't really mean any thing to doom , superman maybe powerful, but sups is soft he's very nice and that's his weakness, dr doom would not take on superman with out any plans to win againet superman, doom will just trick superman and steal his powers.

The thing is Doom knows nothing of Superman, Superman's powers, or weaknesses.

The thing is that half of Dooms default attacks are magical which just happens to be Superman's weakness.

As often as I hear the phrase "Superman is too fast for so and so to hit" thrown around on varius boards, Superman gets tagged by people with no super speed whatsoever all the time.

yeah your right but doom will end up spy on superman and see what he can do and know his weakness before planing anything if it was a crossover he did same to surfer when he flrst came to earth

He could just steal Surfer's powers and beat Superman with them.

Ok how about this? Dr.Doom comes to the battle unaware of what Superman can do.He takes the first hit from Supes and it doesn't do much because his armor is really durable.Supes hits him with half of his full potential and breaks a large portion of the armor.Doom calls the Doombots.He hides amongst them while Superman rips through them one by one as he comes up with a plan.He may need to leave and return to the bettle with extra weaponry or he could just use his magic seeing as how Doom is an excellent sorcerer and Supes is a school girl against Magic."

Doom would probably retreat while Superman fights his Doombots. Considering that Superman is fighting Doom, it means the universes merged (I assume). So Doom would find someone with the common interest-defeating Superman. So Doom learns all about Superman's characteristics and weaknesses from Lex Luthor, and knowing Doom he would be able to devise a plan to defeat and steal Superman's powers. But right after stealing his powers, the Fantastic 4 come in and join up with Superman, getting his powers back and defeating Doom.

Well how would Doom win then? Knowing no weaknesses or characteristics of Superman, how would Doom win?

Dr Doom would be able to beat Superman a million different ways. Doom easily conquered the Earth numerous times. Doom only loses when the challenge is gone. Like Batman, Dr Doom knows everything about his opponents, but he is 10 times smarter than Batman. Evidence suggests that he is the smartest human in the Marvel universe. Combine that with mastery of all sciences and the mystic arts...It takes entire teams to beat Doom, not one Superman.

Lex Luthor is considered the smartest man on Earth so is effectively Reed with the same ego and sense of entitlement as Doom. Superman has this fight in the bag as although Doom would be smarter he is not fighting a super powered dullard, Doom and Luthor are both very intelligent but they both know the only reason there still breathing is because heroes don't kill.

In the 10 seconds that he talks Doom's armor scans him, notices his extreme levels of power.

Doom raises his hands to give up... Ovoid Mind Switch.

Now Doom has a nice kryptonian body to play around in.

Or If Superman does not talk first and just goes in swinging. He slams into a powerful shield and Doom's automatic defenses and shields buy him a second or 2 for him to screw Superman's world.

I would give it to Superman 9/10 with prep. Doom makes his own stuff but Superman has a much better starting advantage and a better pool of resources and contacts.

That's the same as the majority of Superman's villains.99% of Doom's fights are prep on his part just goes with being a genius villain and he stands a chance if he has prep and Superman doesn't but when Superman has prepared for fights the results have been frightening.

For me this is the ultimate hero vs the ultimate villain. I don't even know. Morals on, this would be an epic EPIC battle.

Superman would trash him like a joke if he was bloodlusted. Superman's biggest problem in his fights is the fact that he fights like Superman. He is his own biggest weakness, it hurts him much more than kryptonite.

The vast majority of people here arguing for Doom are arguing Doom with Prep. But the OP didn't say with Prep, just said Doom is pissed off(and didn't specify a reason), so this is just a standard fight with the slight change of Doom is emo-raging for some reason. The others are arguing, "MAGICK MAGICK MAGICK!!! DOOM FTW!!! LULZ!!!" Which is completely inaccurate.

Does Doom normally do that? If not, I can just say Superman speed-blitzes him before it happens. And considering Superman's broken GL constructs rather easily, I think he can get through Doom's shields with a few punches.

..makes me laugh when people say things like "doom curb-stomps!" So, Doom has beaten stronger opponents than Superman, so yes he is dangerous, but hasn't Superman defeated Darkseid and Doomsday before? I mean they are kinda out of Doom's league. I go for Superman to eventually edge a tight battle.

Whenever I see Batman vs soandso, it always ends up with people saying "Batman with prep". No reason Doom can't have it as well
