Dr Doom vs Spiderman

Random encounter on the streets of New York. Doom has ten minutes to defeat Spiderman before heavy duty backup arrives both know it's on the way. Spiderman is trying to evade rather than fight. Both have standard gear and in their current incarnations Does he manage it?

Doom already waxed that ass..in Spidey's own comic no less. Which was also a random encounter. Well Pete had no Idea Doom was planing to show up anyway.

Did anyone read the scenario? This is pretty much the same plot as Amazing Spider-Man #5. Peter isn't trying to win, just live long enough for someone (in that comic the Fantastic Four) to show up and save him. Like that comic I think he can live long enough for help to arrive.

I think Spidey could do it too. His strength has aways been his speed and dexterity, that combined with his web, spider sense (assuming he has it) and his in-depth knowledge of New York suggest he could last the ten minutes.

Current Doom has the infinity gauntlet I believe.

Doom was also beating doctor strange, silver sable and spider-man simultaneously in a recent story line and he didn't seem to be trying imo. He wins. Assuming doom knows that he has to end this in 10 minutes. I can upload scans tomorrow but the issue was avenging spider-man #8.
