Care to mention how he beats Swamp-Thing? Everyone says he can't die as long as there is plant life.

he takes over his body kills the others with it then seals him away with a spell.

hell with 24 hours of prep doom has taken on high end cosmic threat this will be a minor inconvenience.

I don`t see him beating Swamp Thing and even with prep it doesn`t mean John won`t con him.

How is he draining "green" from him? He's somehow going to destroy all plant life on the planet? And is that your only way that Dr. Doom wins? Because anytime there is a battle, that's all you say. Dr. Doom drains someone and that's it.

The Green is a power source ergo he can drain it. He can also freeze him, hypnotize him, enchant him to forget he has powers, etc. Or even just summon the mindless ones.

And Doom's draining is enough to pretty much beat any character which is why it's mentioned.

Swamp thing doesn't need that physical body. He could simply go on to other plant lifesince the green is supposed to be connected to all plant life. He would have to destroy all plant life to defeat Swamp Thing. Dr. Doom should get crushed before he gets to drain anything.

Swamp Thing's not strong enough to crush Doom. And I didn't really mention physical body. He'd get drained, hypnotized, enchanted to forget his powers, or cut off from the green, etc. like I said before.

Don't see many arguments being made

1. The "green" isn't a power source, it's an other dimensional place that is a link between all flora or plant life everywhere in the universe. Just like the red is a link between all fauna or animals and the rot is for death. There is no energy or source or power to drain. It simply is all vegetative life. The power source is the plants themselves and in that lies the kicker, killing Swamp thing ensures the death of anyone needed the pesky little thing of air to breath on the planet. Doom can only kill Swamp thing by ensuring his own demise. So for him to "kill" swamp thing would mean he'd have to be pretty bloody stupid which he isn't. Doom wont "drain Swampy because to do so is to destroy himself and all those he rules and after all without subjects what is he?? Answer nothing and Doom's ego wont allow for that either (the ego BTW is the plot point of how he normally looses).

2. Making Swamp thing forget his powers is also useless, as at the very beginning he had no idea what so ever as to what he was and was using those powers on pure instinct to perform his role. He was also "renewed after the "death" of Alec Holland and still was capable of using his full powers. So it's actually proven canon of the character that not knowing of his powers is in no way an impediment to their use, in fact he actually used them better in some instances during these times.

Swamp Thing's not strong enough to crush Doom. And I didn't really mention physical body. He'd get drained, hypnotized, enchanted to forget his powers, or cut off from the green, etc. like I said before.

This is the funniest thing yet, since Swamp thing's strength is like that of Hulk stated to be incalculable. He can become as strong as he needs to be by drawing on more plant life and has been shown on planet to be >>>> in strength to Superman and still not at a "limit".

Doom wins in a good fight.

2. Then he can enchant him to think he no longer has powers. Doesn't really matter

3. None of what you said about his strength says he can hurt Doom. Hulk got destroyed too. And you didn't really address the hypnotize thing. Or simply being cut off from the Green.
