@picallo3798: yep totally agree with u.... Like no one can possibly stand a chance against Dr doom.... The fantastic 4 beat him all the time, so why do people think no one else can?

Tony already stated that Dooms armor alone dwarves his. Pair that with the fact that Doom is smarter, has powerful magic, better technology and is Marvel's 2nd best prepper; you have your Victor.. so to speak.

Tony at the time this thread was originally made, was the weakest, least impressive he's been in nearly a decade.

Doctor Doom's technology definitely isn't more advanced than Tony Stark's. At best, Doom's technology is equal to Tony's but not better. From the evidence present, Tony's armors have generally displayed better technological feats. I'm talking strictly technology. Tony's armors have displayed better speed, strength, durability etc. strictly from a technological standpoint compared to Doom's armor. So if both battle each other without any magic involved and it's purely a battle between their tech, I'd favor Iron Man or at best from Doom's perspective, a stalemate. Where Dr Doom surpasses Iron Man is through magic. Dr Doom's combination of magic and tech is what surpasses him over Iron Man.

... or Victor wipes the floor with Tony in all 3 rounds.

My hero doesnt get a happy ending here. I just don't see Iron Man defeating Doom. Aside from Hulk, Doom is probably the most powerful earth-being there is. Iron Man may be more than a street-level hero but he isn't quite a cosmic-level hero, which is probably what it would take to defeat Doom 1-on-1.

A more evenly balanced opponent for Doom would be Dr. Strange or Black Bolt, and possibly even Thor or Nova.

Doom smacks both rounds, all he needs to do is pop a forcefield in Tonys head and then the ting goes SKRAAAA PA KA KA...
