The Dread One wins. He's just as powerful but he's not a jobber.

#3 Posted by wuf_1 (11 posts) - - Show Bio

@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: even outside dormammus dimension ?

#4 Posted by TifaLockhart (15320 posts) - - Show Bio

@wuf_1: Not sure, but Dormammu's stalemated him in the past and even defeated him with help from his big sister.

Plus what has Eternity actually done? I bet his fighting skills are weak too.

As of my understanding i asume that eternity is the most powerfull "thing" in the marvel universe, tho im not sure. i know that Thanos with IG is the most powerfull but he's dead now so he doesn't count. or am i wrong. is he only the strongest when he merge with death, oblivion and infinity ?

#6 Posted by TifaLockhart (15320 posts) - - Show Bio

@wuf_1: Who knows? Eternity is like the Spectre of the Marvel Universe. Always jobbing when he shouldn't.

#7 Posted by wuf_1 (11 posts) - - Show Bio

Im sorry but can you explain to me what jobbing is / means. :P do you mean that hes working i dont quite understand xD sorry :(

#8 Posted by TifaLockhart (15320 posts) - - Show Bio

@wuf_1: Sorry. It's a wrestling term for when a wrestler "does the job" and loses to his opponent to boost his opponent's reputation.

Eternity.

#10 Posted by wuf_1 (11 posts) - - Show Bio

Aha, now i understand what you mean. so what you are saying, is that eternity would rather lose than show off his power ? and therefore lose the fight between them

#11 Posted by TifaLockhart (15320 posts) - - Show Bio

@wuf_1: Not intentionally, but yeah I think he'd lose here. Sorry, I'm really bad at giving definitions to slang words.

haha okay, could you be more specific :P like how he wins ?

Eternity is Abstract Level, while Dormammu is Skyfather/Elder God Level.

I Agree

@Bo88gdan: @Ferdelance: @jeanroygrant: Dormammu has beaten Eternity WITHOUT help from his sister... and Locked him up twice before. Dormammu hasn't been beaten by eternity yet, only stalemated, while DOrammu claims two victories over him.

Round 1: Eternity

Round 2: Eternity

Round 3: Dormammu

#21 Posted by Laylah (742 posts) - - Show Bio

@claymore1998: I was hoping for you get here! Now that I can get some fun.

But, do you really think Dormammu can win against Eternity with 1 year of prep? I thought you saw Eternity miles above Dormammu.

#22 Posted by Claymore1998 (9889 posts) - - Show Bio

@laylah: With 1 year worth of prep perhaps. That's a fairly long time to prepare unperturbed.

Beyond that yes, I do see Eternity as significantly more powerful than Dormammu and Marvel as a whole, at least off late, seem to agree.

Power wise the 4 primary abstracts have a class of their own.

#23 Posted by Laylah (742 posts) - - Show Bio

@claymore1998: I think he can win with prep too, but are artefacts like The Evil Eye of Avalon classified as standard equipments?

Oh, don't take me wrong.

I see Eternity as more powerful since it's on Dormammu's Bio from 2006 that he lost to Eternity. However, taking Dormmy during his time on Strange Tales, do you think the gap of power between them is too large?

#24 Edited by Laylah (742 posts) - - Show Bio

Eternity is above Dormammu, right? Well, they seem pretty equal here:

The Dread One wins. He's just as powerful but he's not a jobber.

I agree with this. I would be interested to see Eternity fight him outside of realm though.

First two rounds:Eternity easy

Last round:Dormammu take it

Eternity.

Dormmamu stands a good shot in his realm.

Dormammu wins.
