Dormammu & Mephisto vs Silver Surfer & Galactus

Mephisto requests Dormammu's aid in getting revenge on Galactus and his herald. Galactus has just fed but the battle takes place in neutral space without any planets. All characters are at full power. Who takes it?

Surfer defeats Mephisto. Galactus defeats Dormammu.

Dormammu just destroys Eternity, the home of which countless of Galacti live in.

iirc Surfer has already defeated Mephisto before and in neutral realm Galactus should be able to defeat Dormmy here...altho in dark realm it could be interesting...

Dormammu stomps Silver Surfer, and in his realm, Mephisto has stalemated Galactus. Though he would be defeated eventually, Dormammu would have stomped SS by then and the two proceed to own Galactus.

Since the location isn't specified, it takes place in an unpopulated city. >_>....the city is obliterated of course, but that isn't the point. This is not Mephisto's realm.

....Only issue i'm seeing here, is that Galactus is a pillar of the universe or something. So wouldn't destroying him = everyone losing? .....but then again, i suppose Dormammu's goal is to destroy everything anyway.

I dunno. In his realm, Mephisto has stalemated Galactus. This is out-of-realm, but Mephisto is still quite powerful.

Not really. There's all your abstracts (Death, Eternity, Oblivion, Infinity), Living Tribunal, Celestials, the Fulcrum, In-Betweener, Vishanti, Beyonder and TOAA and so on.

Horrible to see all this.... Dormammu beat Gaia in her home turf. How? He showed the ability to tap directly into his own realm, and amp himself at will. Something No one else has. Mephisto is just a big Jobber.

Mephisto over powered Galactus and Galactus had to ponder a strategy to turn the tables so while Mephisto was bragging about his victory, Galactus sensed that Mephisto's realm was flourished with energy that he needed and started to devourer the souls which Mephisto cherished. Mephisto could have continued to fight and stopped Galactus from feeding, but not without sacraficing his precious trophies so he allowed Galactus to take back his Herald because one soul doesn't make up for loosing countless of other ones. Galactus won via PIS.

tbh that feat was like decades ago, marvel cosmics wasn't really that well established back then. dormammu isn't anywhere near this level nowadays even back in that classic era, dormammu admitted he's equal to odin and zeus which is skyfather level

Um, Marvel WAS more established and consistent "back then" for 40 years straight... You're saying that they are more consistant now that they are bought up by Disney? I don't think so.... 40 years of consistent history > 6 years of what they write now - which are by the way, reimaged edited versions than what the dedicated writers used to write "back the". Not to mention, DC writers right for Marvel now, so that's pretty inconsistent within itself.

So neither of them are going to be at their best.

Taking that into account a could definitely see Galactus and SS taking this one in a tough fight.

That's because if Dormammu and Mephisto "did their best", Galactus team wouldn't stand a chance at all. At least now that it is in a neutral realm, Galactus still has a chance of surviving longer. Don't forget that despite Dormammu's personal power be not his all, he still has all the conjuring power he needs to easily destroy Galactus.

It doesn't matter if they aren't in home turf. Dormammu has shown he can tap into his own realm. He has beaten Gaea before.

What? Why? He has done it before, why wouldn't he be able to do so again?

Gaea is still much more powerful than beings like Odin and Zeus, or any skyfather for that matter.

Her power isn't just from Earth, its just that she's the embodiment of all life on Earth.

Defeating an Elder God isn't an impressive feat? Gaea has telekinetically lifted Thor's hammer Mjolnir with a thought and so on. She is very powerful, that's an impressive feat, defeating her.

Silver Surfer is not a match for Mephisto, even out of his realm. He has "beaten" him once, but I believe that was one of those events that was retconned into Mephisto only letting him think he'd won (something he has done with Thor as well). I've seen at least two battles between them outside of Mephisto's realm. This is one, and from what I recall, the other was similarly one-sided. Incidentally, these scans are from the same graphic novel where Mephisto battled Galactus.

Really? Elder gods were stated to be far more powerful than gods, even in their prime. Gaea's power over mother nature is theoretically limitless, plus, she appears in different forms to other beings, for example, a person with African heritage would view her as an African person, while an Asian person would see her as an Asian person, even if they were both standing there at the same time. She is the embodiment of all life on Earth.

Of course heaps of people have moved Thor's hammer. I meant she telekinetically moved Thor's hammer with a thought. Although Gaea doesn't have many combat feats. When she amped Hercules, he was fighting against abstracts like Amatsu-Mikaboshi.

However, this is getting more off-topic. Defeating an Elder Goddess is impressive enough.

If it wasn't for Gaea, there would be no Thor, Odin, Zeus, Mikaboshi, etc.... She pretty much created all the Pantheon godlings and also created Demogorge. She is far more powerful than Odin. If it wasn't for Gaea, Mikaboshi would have already destroyed 100% of the multiverse.

Dormammu beats all three of them.

This is a joke, none of them are any match for Big G, in a neutral field he solos thus without much trouble. As stated time and again on panel and by other Marvel sources Dormammu = Odin, his fans like to try to build him up higher but this is where he us. Not to mention Surfer has already beaten Mephisto.
