Considering that Superman defeated Doomsday (albeit at the cost of his life), PC Mongul should win this, as long as he remembers to rip Doomsday's head off at the end of said battle.

Would HP Doomsday make the fight more even or would it be one sided?
That would be a more even fight, because Mongul could handle his speed, strength and powers, but when Doomsday starts evolving and adapting to Mongul's strength and power on the fly it'd be a long but inevitable battle.....Doomsday would eventually win after a long while cus even though Mongul starts out stomping him into the dirt, it'd be more even once DD starts adapting and catches up to and over Monguls level.
Mongul would win and if I recall correctly, when Doomsday defeated Darkseid, it was one of his many avatars.

Even HP DD loses to Mongul from PC.
Mongul is that powerful to twart HP DD? I'm slightly familiar with Mongul, PC is far stronger then mainsteam current Mongul right? Haven't read THAT much on Mongul since he hardly pops up. I'd be shocked though if he stomped HP DD lol.

That makes sense.

I don't recall Superman downing Doomsday simply with his heat vision ever...do you have scans?
Yo..smallville....LOL omg I got the best set ups! but nah obviously he didnt do that. i was just setting up for a troll.
I still got mongul though now.

Okay.
Given that Doomsday can't come back as of OP. I don't see how PC Mongul would not win. The whole point of Doomsday is coming back to life and adapting to his enemy.

Actually the whole point of Doomsday was to "kill" Superman :P
But in all seriousness I made it that way cause a lot of people in debates tend to say that once Doomsday dies he will come back immune to what killed him before and then win. Now what I'm thinking is that once he dies the fight is over! His opponent is already long gone and it takes time for Doomsday to return. IIRC Doomsday was once beaten to death buy a sh*t ton of Kryptonians. It took all of them to bring him down but once they did it took him quite some time to come back.
You understand what I mean?
@WarlordEternal: I understand that Doomsday being used in battles is either a hit or miss. But sometimes I feel that if you have to either take a way a character's abilities or add to them just to make it fair, then they shouldn't be used. Doomsday by nature is coming back to life and killing stuff. It would be more fair if you gave Doomsday a number of times from which he can come back. At least then one can debate on whether or not he could defeat PC Mongul or if PC Mongul still wins. Killing him just once is too easy for PC Mongul. Given how bad of a beat down he gave PC Superman, he would literally kill Doomsday with one punch to his head.

Yeah I get what you mean, just thought Doomsday was tough enough. Guess not.

What version of DD is that? H/P DD evolves on the fly and could very well adapt to PCM's strength after one good punch.
The picture is from the Reign of the Doomsday's.
I'm curious whats the next best thing to Hunter/Prey version?
@OmgOmgWtfWtf: You just gave me an idea.
What if I make it a two or three round battle with certain rules to each?

Okay.
Nice scans, that first Supes/Mongul fight was epic pretty brutal. The second or third time I forget Supes and Mongul fought across space or something crazy lol.
Smallville feat since I'm a huge fan, first Clark got his butt kicked and DD made him bleed even but then Clark amped it up a notch and more or less tackled DD and put him in the ground lol. More or less a preview of the fight we all know in the future where it seems DD would rest until he rises up from the ground and Clark gains his flight, experience, more power etc in that time as well.@logy5000 said:
@Vaeternus: Sounds legit.
Yeah, I'm sure someone can find that second or third fight lol

I think you're referring to Superman's fight with Mongul where he had the Legion of Superheroes at his back. Its the only fight Superman won against PC Mongul, and that was crazy!

ah okay.
2 scenarios:
Mongul STOMPS.
Doomsday being the PIS machine that he is copies Mongul's abilities and STOMPS.
Where is that Apokolips picture from? it's really nice and quite different from the usual Apokolips setting.

Doomsday isn't hit or miss,he's PIS.It took him centuries to come back from Radiant's attack but only seconds when the Omega Beams struck him and when Hank Henshaw split him in half. The character is just a stupid plot device.

I thought the deal with Radiant was because he was buried deep within the earth and because of his Kryptonian physiology his regeneration was slow due to lack of sunlight.

I'm aware of this explanation but ti still doesn't add up,Radiants blast was not really powerful(1/5th of a planet) and obviously it would taken them time to take him to Earth and bury his ass, time in which he could've fully healed based on other Doomsday comics.

I understand; however, I was under the impression that they shot him into space (I don't think they had the intention of sending him to earth) And in order to get stuck that deep into the ground it would have to mean that he was traveling at a remarkable fast speed, so it's likely that he didn't get any solar energy during the launch.
IIRC in other Doomsday books he was brought back with the aid of Luthor.

They had the time to tie him up and mummify him somewhat lol.The original Doomsday was killed by Imperiex and was cloned by Luthor and Darkseid, but for all intents and purposes it is still the same Doomsday,he has the same powers, looks and PIS like his predecessor.
