Gambit he would catch his batterangs and throw the back at him charged up than he would charge up batman's utility belt making it explode hurting him and as batman retreats in the batmobile remy would than charge up the batmobile makeing it explode.

Pretty good, well thought out and I pretty much agree with the assessment. One thing I feel I must point out to some of the Bat-fans that think he is just gonna walk all over Gambit is as great as Batman is at the end of the day he is still only human, so he is just as vulnerable to fire and explosions as any other human. So not only could a charged piece of armor on Batman's costume cause him some serious damage, but a well placed and timed explosion could also hinder Batman's vision and hearing that could lessen his advantages.
Normally I don't really like articles from the staff. Nothing personal, I just don't find them interesting. Really liking this monthly though Katz. I'm not even a Batman fan but you can really tell you give both characters the credit they deserve.

Explanation: DareDevil is closer to Nightwing in almost every relavent attribute. Its be like Batman fighting Nightwing. It would just not be good. it won't be a good article.

Well, you're more than welcome to make other suggestions here.
Truthfully, I think Nightcrawler stands less of a chance than Gambit does. He'd be in character, so he's way less prone to using the tactics he'd need to win.

He definitely could! Kurt has the element of surprise right away with that power, but seeing as he's in character, he won't use it for something that'll immediately defeat Wayne. From there, his teleportation is no longer a surprise, and Wayne has the mindset, skill and even gear required to then counter Kurt (in due time, of course).
pff, in x-men unlimited remy has defeated wolverine without a sweat because he's very unpredictable.. plus his agility doesn't make him an easy target for batman's gadgets..

This fight is much closer than It seems at first. With his reflexes and powers this puts Gambit at less of an advantage than most would think. I'd go 6/10 maybe even 5.5/10 Batman in a random encounter.

Yes, Venom is weak to fire and sonics, but Batman doesn't know that in a random encounter. This is something he'd have to discover, and Venom's massive physical edge and lack of morals (I assume you mean Brock) won't give Batman a lot of time to discover it.
I think a lot of people underestimate Gambit. Maybe that's the fault of recent Marvel writers. I believe Batman would undoubtedly win WITH PREP TIME. However in a random encounter, I think Gambit has the upper hand. And for those that say Batman is the superior fighter--I agree! But why use fisticuffs when you have explosive powers at your disposal. My opinion, don't bite my head off.

@pingclang: gambits equipment isnt just what he has giving the fact that he charge any non organic, even captains shield. add that with high reflexive speed, the batarangs become his weapon

Come on I know Bats would win this, but lets not go too far. Gambit is the man as well. One of the coolest comic characters ever who got screwed in the movies. He is stealthy, sly, a strategist as well. I give Bats the edge, cause his gadgets would handle Gambits powers and he´d just be alot more serious about the fight, while Gambits like "lets chillax man and pick up some girls"
