The Doctor wins in any scenario. Zedd is pretty run of the mill for generic Doctor Who villains, and the Doctor has beaten most of them even without prep. Furthermore, Zedd has always proven to be a poor strategist, as he can't seem to figure out that assaulting the same place, and that being the only defended place on Earth, consistently and failing tends to mean you need to change your strategy.

The Doctor is way too smart for anyone in the series. I mean really? Send a bunch of useless thug-like enemies to fight agaisn't super soldiers with laser weapons who can call upon a giantic robot who can stomp everyone? Zedd is really dumb for doing that.
Zedd only wins if the Doctor is stupid enough to go toe-on-toe with him. Every Doctor Who fan must agree that he's a terrible fighter.

No, he's a member of a very powerful and smart race who is now extinct. He survived because he ran. Sart choice. Squirrel Girl is on another level, it's like if she's been backed by TOAA. Se can defeat literally anyone. Doctor Who use his inteligence to win his enemies and get out of impossible situations.

Actually, depends on his rengeneration. Third Doctor and Fourth Doctor were both excellent sword fighters and weren't afraid to just shoot things.
