Doctor Strange & Doctor Fate vs Odin

Odin.

The powers and intensity of the powers are extremely inconsistent. At his max (writing wise), I would say that Dr. Strange could take down Odin by himself. Dr. Fate, I've always felt is like your poor man's Dr. Strange. He is up there with the Lords of Order, yet sometimes, he only ha ssuper strength/ flight (how is then a sorcerer supreme?). At his max, Fate could register as an annoyance to Odin. Through team work and quasi- consistent power rankings, I think that the team may be able to take it.

Current Strange is about ten levels below Odin here. Can't speak for Fate.

Classic strange, was pawning fools in their home realms. Fate, meh. but together they should be able to pull off Classic Strange power levels. And as long as Odin does not throw Gungnir ( the spear that never misses) they will win

With a day of prep, I believe the doctors would take this.

Current Strange will be useless, even with a day of prep. He might know some spells that could feasibly take Odin and all of Asgard down, but he simply lacks the ability/power to even think about utilizing them. Fate might be able too, although that is up for debate.

At his max Fate (Classic) is almost equal in every way with Classic Strange. He like Strange could draw power from any source (Order, Chaos, human spirit etc). The only time he was only was only "super strength, invulnerable, flight, super speed "he also had TK, TP, and ESP/ Mystical senses. This is Golden age Fate without any of his mystical artifacts. His origin story Nabu altered his body when he aged him to have these powers. He then taught him the ways of magic, so even then he could perform magic using ritual magical spells. In places of power like his Salem tower or stone henge he could even perform magic at a similar level to that he could with his artifacts.

I would also not say that their power is inconsistent, the reason I would say that is the the higher power showings of both are because they drew on the power of a realm or entity that put them at their heights. For example to defeat Shuma Gorath Strange drew on the power of the dark realms after absorbing Shuma's underling - basically using his own power against him. To defeat the aligned lords of order and chaos Fate merged with his wife Inza to draw on the power of the human spirit and Chaos and order at once so that he two used both their own power and more against them. So it was actually very consistent that to defeat higher level beings both would draw in one way or another on the power of the one they faced to make them their equal. This same principle also appeared consistently throughout Arion's title. All the best mystics who can defeat every God have been shown to work this way.

@beatboks1: i agree- except for the last part (very small note). Strange/ Fate have never been strong enough to defeat the judeo-christian god (or derivatives like the Spectre/ Living Tribunal).

Odin wins.

Who ever said Fate is a poor man's Strange never picked up a Comic containing Fate in their life.

Classic Fate made Silver Age Superman feats look reasonable and he is well above sky father level

Classic Fate is a magical and also a physical power house. There is almost no equal to him in DC.

But after that incarnation, they changed him in a more "Prophet" way, he is still strong but he tends not to take a side. He still is the most powerful among Lords of Order and Chaos.

He can draw power from both sides and that is why top tier magicians looks like their powers are inconsistent.

They draw power from different realms and sources.
