Well, obviously Doctor Octopus can't put the T-1000 down permanently. And even if he grabs the T-1000, the T-1000 can morph out of his grip. The terminator wins eventually.

If Doc Ock can find something in the environment…not sure what's in Hell Kitchen…he's smart enough to put the T-1000 down.

Unless there are a plethora of smelting stations or a ridiculous heat source the T-1000 wins in a random encounter. With prep Ock stomps.

How durable is the doctor? Can he survive a blade to the chest from the terminator? Octopus will eventually tire, surely long before the T-1000 stops pursuing. At that point, unless Dr. Octopus can erect a heavy-duty forcefield, he's going to die. (And even the forcefield may wear out before the android does.)

A better match for Dr. Octopus is the T-X, or perhaps prototype T-800.
