Doctor Doom vs Superman

@experio: Uh, no. Superman can't harm Doom any more than the other mentioned heros can harm Doom.

Doom is walking prep.

New 52 Superman gets stomped ten ways from Sunday, and probably most versions of Superman. As much as I hate to admit it.

To everyone commenting here. Metropolis and latveria are existing locations... It's not a random encounter I'm pretty sure dr doom is going to be prepared for a supermanspeed blitz.

If doom can be defeated by the fantastic four, superman should have no problem since they suck. Not just a general statement, they are a lame excuse for superheroes. The amount of comics I own where Spider-Man saves their worthless butts......

Superman is no where close to being powerful enough to be a real threat to Doom. Doom is walking prep for beings far more powerful than Superman.

You suppose Doom's magic can't put Superman down? If Supes manages somehow to keep fighting till Doom gets bored and does a mind switch.

Dooms magic can easily one shot the likes of Superman.

As in the Superman / Spider-Man crossover, this is going to mean Doom has Kryptonite. So, after Superman beats down the force field, and tears the armor off Doom, he discovers it's a robot. 100 more Doombots fly up to engage. This gives Doom enough time to field an adamantium re-enforced, Kryptonite ray equipped armor. (Then he'll just have to grab Parasite to rebuild his generator.) If neccessary, after he uses a time-stop spell similar to what Strange uses, or his own time machine to go back in time a few minutes.

@jagernutt: Magik's magic is superior to Doom same with the Scarlet witch, his not second or even fourth. You're over rating Doom.

@experio: How do you know that. Maybe that is recent event, but usually Doom is only second to Strange

@experio: Magik is the demon queen of Limbo who carved up her own soul to make her sword. She doesn't know as much magic so much as she's a kick butt demonic being. (Currently being trained by Strange.) She does most of her effects more by force of will and raw power than knowledge.

Doom came in just behind Voodoo in the Vishanti's test. With Druid dead (... he is still dead, right?), this puts him likely at least keeps him in the top 5.

@experio: yeah, I'm thinking Loki and Morgan le Fey might still have this as far as pure magic, but weren't invited to the competition. Still, his magic is far from weak.

@superguy1591: It shouldnt matter what we see in just two scans. There is no way for us to know what led up to that moment or context from only two scans.

Superman doesn't have what it takes to beat Doom unless Doom is already exhausted from fighting everyone else.

Doom almost always ends up losing after a long fight against everyone else combined. A few of whom hit far harder than Superman.

New 52 Superman has taken some EXTREME magic attacks (one planetary level I believe) and come out standing. Vulnerability =/= weakness, people need to get a grip on that. I don't see how a non-prep'd Doom (that even possible?) could take this with his standard means.

@reactor: Superman has being less vulnerable to magic is cool.

But he really can't do anything to Doom. Doom has tanked punishment from more powerful opponents consistently. Doom even owns SS during every random encounter.
