Doctor Doom VS Silver Surfer! Who would win in this epic battle?  

Doom with prep has beat Odin, Celestials, Abstarcts, Galactus and even fought the preretcon Beyonder

Even without prep Doom has stomped Surfer. 
Many times in comics I might add.

In the whole tech/science/gadget area of intelligence Doom has done things that would make people like the Leader, Pym, Beast, Doc Ock, Xavier, Thinker, Banner etc look like a bunch of dumb fools. Tony Stark sometimes gets close to Doom with his science but Doom would be smarter, the only person who can challenge Doom in science is Reed

Doom also has expertise in non-sciences,

abstract sorcery, black magic, Doom has knowledge of magic that would challenge even Loki and Dr Strange

Dr. Doom doesn't use PIS.  

It takes PIS to defeat Dr. Doom.

While a fake Doom (Doombot) can easily defeat Surfer.

Was the Silver Surfer depowered there or something? Hard to believe that a Doombot can do something like that to him, since Void basically one-shotted a Doombot and Sentry destroyed everything that came afterwards. What happened exactly, when SS was facing the Doombot?

I would like to bump this one! Any other opinions? I know that no one stomps in this fight, or at least I believe so.

@elderskaar: I believe it's happened in modern comics as well, but realistically Surfer shouldn't have too much trouble with Thor.

@mysticmedivh: yeah, the power showings highly goes to Silver Surfer and Thor's lightning wouldn't do anything to Surfer considering he can do this without any harm.

Doctor Doom wins.

It seems as though people are saying Doom wins because of a feat from the sixties. Anyways Doom isn't nearly as powerful, but I can still see him winning. I think the (overrated) prep time might be inconsequential, but Doom is still a super genius capable of thinking and planning on the spot. Not to mention his magic. He is one of the best sorcerers on the planet.

Alternatively I do wonder how intelligent Silver Surfer is. He was a scientist from a planet seemingly millennia ahead of earth in scientific knowledge. Yet in older comics Norrin was shown to be as gullible as a kindergartener, and in modern showings he still quite naive.

Giving Doom any amount of prep against Surfer, a being he's beaten many times is folly, he just absorbs his power cosmic like before.
