Doctor Doom vs. Ronan the Accuser
- Ronan has standard armor and has his hammer. He is also at normal levels.
- Location: The Savage Land. No BFR.
- Starting distance: 50 feet apart.
- Both have no morals. Ronan can't speed-blitz.
- Win is by Incapacitation, K.O. or Death.
- No prep-time. (especially for Doom)
Who wins?
In a random encounter I give it to Ronan
Doom's tech/body is probably Stark level, so Ronan's alien armor should be tougher and more advanced.....as long as Doom doesn't have prep, Ronan's body will be much stronger
Dr Doom's magic shields in a random encounter are probaly as good as the new retconed Strange's...good for keeping out missiles and beefcakes but when it comes to a plot device weapon, his shields will fall like jobbers fall
Magic, Doom is very good at magic and could possibly hurt Ronan like hell but The Witch and Classic Strange have better magic feats, Doom is a great magic user but he was never the best magic user
As long as Busiek or Bendis don't write this random encounter then Ronan should win but it's very close, Dr Doom in a random encounter would give him the worst fight of his life
Just not seeing how Doom answer's one of Ronan's plot device moves that his hammer does like making Blackbolt's voice turn against himself or the hammer opening up a blackhole
Ronan's hammer would give him the win
@Nefarious: can you fill me in onHe's an alien Kree soldier, so he already has combat training and power beyond that of humansRonan the Accuser's powers?
The space armor gives him Ironman style abilities, speed, shields, invisibility, shooting energy, soaking damage, scanners, evolution/adaptability, strength etc
He has a Universal Weapon, a little like Classic Thor's hammer but not as powerful if you compare the history of Thor's feats
@mrtrevorguy: Oh, sorry about that. I went to do something after creating this thread.Yeah, this was an interesting match, I was exaggerating a little I guess. Giving Doom preparations makes it a no brainer in his favor. I think if someone is a Doom fan or doesnt know Ronan's powers, they might think Doom can take him straight up.
@Baltoro: But wouldn't it be a stomp if I gave him prep?
Doom may actually win. Even without prep, the guy is powerful.

I'll go with Victor.
and no.
Ronan is just too much for Doom.
@spiderbuck: And why?
Because Ronan is a high level energy manipulator capable of easily BFRing people to different dimensions and can manipulate molecules (which Doom does not have a defense for without prep).
Ronan stomps. There is a reason why he is on the Annihilators.
@Gremlin From Kremlin said:Thank u alot of people forget Ronan can manipulate on a wide spectrum ,Doom without prep go's down hard .@spiderbuck: And why?

also if anyone remembers that annihilators story line ronan was the only one capable of hurting dr dred and resist his powers
Ronan wins this, if there is no prep time, it will be a bloody fight to the death, but Roran would win, ide say 6/4 times, if Doom has prep.... he wins . Doom knows how to prep xD
I wouldn't feel comfortable saying Ronan's armor is really that much more durable/tech advanced either, if it is true that Doom has used magic to augment the tech in his armor (that may be inaccurate though).
I suppose it comes down to if any of Doom's spells are like classic Strange's auto shields that seemed to always be there subconsciously?
@spiderbuck: And why?
Matter and cosmic energy manipulation are just too much for Doom. This chick fought Celestials and Demigods, and Ronan just OWNS her.
cosmic matter manipulation > magic manipulationDr. Doom's intelligence and magic manipulation make the difference here; Doom wins.
I have always maintained (and still stand by) a belief that Ronan is a teambreaker as long as he's holding onto his hammer, but not very fearsome once you deprive him of if. It's a bit of a cop out I guess, but I'm pretty confidant that Doom has some way to disarm Ronan up his sleeve he's been saving for the right occasion. Perhaps something invovling a little creative use of magic and tech combined.
Ronan definitely wins this even with or without prep time.... Ronan with prep time owns doom. He has battled gamora hand to hand to a stalemate and he does not need his hammer to beat doom.... The exoskeleton that he where's far surpasses anything doom has made and he's able to adjust to anything doom throws at him.... The suit can turn everything around to absolute zero and he has gone toe to toe with black bolt and his hammer is better than thors hammer.... The suit alone is a problem and you add a the hammer to that and you'll say prep time but to be honest ronan is a tactical genius as well you give him prep time and your whole planet will be destroyed. He can manipulate anything down to the cellular level, interstellar space travel, create black holes and his shield is by far more powerful than any shield doom can create..... Also Starks armor doesn't compare to his armor it's a travesty saying that lol
Exactly floopay, but on top of that he's a 75 class strength class... So the raw strength is there and he's also a master tactician which is 2second to none in the marvel universe. He's very under appreciated and no one seems to understand the power that he wields. He has gone toe to toe with thor, Hercules, black bolt, gamora, nova prime, iron man, ms marvel, fantastic four, silver surfer and he's gone to a draw or have beaten them....
Ronan ftw.
He's one of the most underappreciated Marvel Powerhouses. What he lacks in raw strength he makes up for in a godly amount of abilities. He could probably just stasis Doom right off the bat and win if he wanted to, or disintegrate his suit.
Thanks for reading,
Floopay
Doom stomps. Cosmic manipulation = absorbed into his suit. Forcefields block anything, and magic takes him out as it did other herald level eneies.
I'll take Ronan 7/10 in a random encounter. That hammer is b@d@$$.
