Flash, as you say both are somewhat overrated but Allen justifiably so.

Doom falls into the category of unable to explain their powers in less than a sentence.

In fact, Doctor Doom only needs 5 minutes to deal with Barry, and he'll be using 4 of those minutes to make himself a delicious and nutritious sandwich.

A lot of anti-Batman-with-prep people claimed that Batman's victories is only PIS but they had conveniently ignored that most of Doctor Doom's victories are via PIS, that is, unexplained "magic did it" and that's arguably even worse!

Flash is overrated but when it comes to PIS, he suffered from it rather than being the beneficiary of it.

Wrong, Flash takes him out before he has time to do anything...he doesn't know when Flash is coming, he just knows that he is.

I think The Beyonder absorbing feat was major PIS. First, he only takes like, 70% of the power of Galactus, a being way below the Beyonder, and second, he survives 2 ATTACKS from omnipotent energy Beyonder, then proceeds to eat his power with some magical chest device that is never explained, ever. Doom with a majority of Galactus' power would be evaporated by The Beyond-Beyonder's first attack, but instead, he survives two attacks from him and then proceeds to activate said 'magical chest device'. Honestly, even if it did create one of my favorite characters, the story arc itself was really full of sh**.

Maybe if writers hadn't made the Speed Force into an absolute joke. Designing/altering his suit with the Speed Force? Yea sure that makes sense why not?

God dammit, I voted flash before readin the OP, since it says 3 months of prep, then doom, if random encounter, then flash.

Flash takes off and starts smashing Doombot decoys.

What he doesn't realize is that he is creating a visual pattern on the surface of the planet.

Once complete, the pattern causes time to distort, making his speed useless.

On the blue area of the moon. Doom sips on a martini with one hand, and fires an energy blast at the center of the pattern with the other.

Then 'Buried Alien' blocks it with a piece of space junk, and blasts Doom off the Moon with a light speed boulder.

With Prep, Dr. Doom takes this hands down! He will not only defeat Barry, but figure a way to steal his powers and access the speed force in earth 616

The OP didnt say he has knowledge of the flash .

Second what is doom with all that prep when he doesnt know what he is prepping for ?

Flash Stomps He takes a second to See all of Doom Possibilities and take him out easily .
