Doctor Doom vs. Darth Vader

They remind me of each other a little bit, even though they're vastly different.  I think they're on the same power level, though I'm betting Doom has some tricks up his sleeve worthy of killing Vader.  No prep time, and they do not have access to anything but what they usually wear/carry.  They'll fight in an endless desert.

Hmm, I give this fight to Vader.

Vader is very strong in the force, he is 3 quarters as strong as the Emperor, who in mind defeated Yoda. And with no prep Doom would lose, he he does a nice little cool blast but Vader blocks it with the force, and then yes the force choke or even a force crush which would immediatley break the larynx of Doom.

with prep, doom in a curbstomp. without prep, a good fight, but i think vader could take it.

Agreed! Doom can fly so he would not be easily hit with the saber and even if he were hit his forcefield would protect him. Vader can block laser fire, but Dooms blasts don't come out like laser fire, they are way to broad and powerful for Vader to block. "

God good question..... I really dont know. Thinking about it for a bit, I would unfortunately have to give it to Doom.  But why fight...? JOIN THE DARK SIDE!

Vader walks over Doom with no Prep time, nothing Doom can do is stronger than the force.

Dr Doom destroys Vader. In fact I'm willing to go the extra mile and say that Doom might even edge out a win over Palapatine.

Movie Palpatine that is.

DO YOU FOOLS NOT REMEMBER DOOM IS SECOND IN LINE FOR THE TITLE OF SORCERER SUPREME?  Doom can turn Vader into a dust just for fun.

(off topic but true) Floating high above the battle Magneto closes both his fists crushing both  warriors in their armor....... As a final slap he removes the iron from their blood and constructs a statue of himself with it on their bodies.

Doom curbstomps. he's fought stronger and come out on top.

Some how I doubt that Vader "Force Choke" hold would even get past Doom's armour, let alone the various Magically defenses that Victor's got. 
 
This is a simple over in first round!  Lightsaber isn't going to stop an wide energy blast.  HELL Doom would just hack into Vader's lifesupport system and turn off the power.

To anyone claiming Vader wins, is there something about Vader you would like to tell me? How is he supposed to win? Did he perform some major feat recently that I am unaware of? And, seriously, enough with this "Choke ftw!" nonsense. Force Choke is not even the best application of Force Telekinesis anyway, and most of Vader's best telekinetic feats had nothing to do with Choke. So unless someone can provide a good reason for why Vader should reasonably win this, Doom curbstomps.

Didn't George Lucas state that the inspiration of Vader came from Doctor Doom? Doom wins.
