By some sort of teleporter accident, doctor doom is teleported to the world of A Song of Ice and fire (specifically, the outskirts of the fee city of Lys) in the 298th year after Aegons' landing
Doctor Doom vs ASoIaF Earth
Never read ASoIaF fill me in.
the world's pretty elaborate
A month.
really? okay
how will he do it?
I don't think he would do it. The night is dark and full of terrors.
Seriously though, the Red Priests can probably take him out easily. Melisandre has caused an eagle to spontaneously combust.

and Doctor Doom has been fighting the human Torch for like, forty years now
anyways,m how far do you see Doom getting?
House Von Doom rises up takes over quite fast really, he already has the whole nobility deal pretty nailed down.
Melisandre's magic is a joke compared to what Doom faces in 616 (Strange and friends), and the combination of Doom's magic and technology is so godlike for the eyes of Westeros people that they would simply be in awe and follow him (one key group would be the guild of alchemist that make the Wildfire, but they would probably be the first to join him after his display of power).
As for backstabbing, Westeros politics are child's play compared to what Doom has been around, he (616 Doom) was elected the leader of the Parliament of Doom, a group of a ton of different Marvel universe's Doctor Dooms, so if he can charm his counterparts and keep them in line, I'm pretty sure it won't be hard to stick around in Kings Landing.
Doom will probably be interested in the Daenerys's dragons, but Doom is no fool, he will quickly learn of the Targaryen history and will probably try to join her in marriage to not only reduce the number of battles he has to pull off, but to solidify his position.
The house of Von Doom Targaryen quickly dispatches the future white walker threat after reports of their weakness to dragon-glass and fire reach Victor's ears.
@betatesthighlander1: Last I checked, Human Torch can't make things spontaneously combust.
I think Doom would get as far as pissing off the Red Priests. Which is quite a bit.

when was the last you checked?
Another thought popped to mind. If Doom was put in the ASOIAF past...
What state was the strongest empire in the past? Where was the place that magic was the strongest? Valyria.
What happened to Valyria? The DOOM of Valyria
"The Doom still rules in Valyria."
"It is said that few survive a journey to the ruins of Valyria. Even the most hardened sailors shudder at the thought of sailing to post-Doom Valyria. The very sea there is said to smoke and boil, and the land is said to be overrun with demons. It is said that any sailor who so much as glimpses the fiery mountains of Valyria rising above the waves will soon die a dreadful death."
Seems... fitting for Victor to take over and turn the strongest empire into dust, gather their intellect, learn their magic and prepare for the impending take over.

heh, yeah, I could see that
someone needs to write this fic
Doom takes 6 months a year at most. 2 months to learn everything he can about the world. Another 2 months to build an army and build massively better armaments for his army. Another month conquering Westeros. Another month finding the Targaryen wench. He woos her, marry's her, gets her dragons proceeds to conquer Essos as well. He hires faceless men along the way but eventually conquers Braavos as well. Doom with total victory in that time. Next he learns of the white walkers and fortifies the Wall with dragonglass so they can't even hope to penetrate it. As soon as the dragons are grown he uses them to obliterate the Walkers north of the wall. He woos the wildlings and they are subjugated as well. Conquering the ASoIaF world will be child's play compared to what he has to contend with on Marvel Earth.

how will Doom learn about everything on the planet?
it's not like they have worldwide transit or information superhighways
He flies into any decent castle, kills the local Lord, and demands information, the local maester will comply and probably end up directing him to the Citadel in oldtown, there he has all the information he needs, and none of those places have enough men to even come close to stopping Doom alone with his armor.

but most castles are gonna have pretty fractal information about what's beyond the walls
also, he starts thousands and thousands of miles from the nearest castle
Any measter appointed to a castle knows all history of Westeros and Valyria, their medieval medicine and chemistry, their economy (money and accounting), their warcraft (strategies and history), use of ravens for communication among other things.
Doom can take this in many many ways, from single handle killing political leaders (There seems nothing in this verse could hurt his armor, maybe Dragon fire), to making an army, or simply making chaos by providing false information via ravens.
And thousands of miles is nothing for Doom, his armor has jetpack/boots that he uses to travel in space, at worst they are hypersonic, a continent or two is just a couple minutes to an hour away for him.

true, but they usually have pretty vague knowledge of the world beyond Westeros's borders

yeah, but has he traveled across continents in an atmosphere?

Doom is capable of teleporation via his tech or sorcery.
If it's info Doom needs he does have a time platform that linked directly into his armor.
how will that help?

really? when has he used that?
If it's info Doom needs he does have a time platform that linked directly into his armor.
how will that help?
Well if he has a set target traveling back through time learning & manipulating every possible outcome can be arranged. Then conquering the planet wouldn't matter because to current events/history Doom was always king.ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

okay, while I'm not sure if that can work with just Doom's armor (I don't remember him ever doing anything like that)
I'm not gonna allow that

He didn't understand it was a joke ಥ_ಥ Yes Doom is plagued by CIS (character induced stupidity) no really a matter of the battle forms or it's tend to be overlooked.

yes, well, I think this scenario is most entertaining with doom in character
I don't have scans at hand that showcase him flying in atmosphere, but be sure that he has and does all the time, he is noted to outspeed the human torch and keep up with Iron Man, so really, that travel speed is beyond strong against the poor people of Westeros that take weeks or months to reach from one city to another.

yes, but I'm not sure how far he can fly

I think it would be faster for you to read http://www.comicvine.com/doctor-doom/4005-1468/ than to keep posting evidence of Doom's base abilities.
Seriously, his armor is comparable to Iron Man's base one. He can fly for days by recharging (he uses the Sun and pretty much any energy source he can come up with).
@betatesthighlander1: Those aren't the only instances where he's used his teleporter.
And yes, it IS standard equipment, regardless of how many times he's used it.

He's time-traveled to learn magic from Morgana Le Fay, procure Excalibur, peer at possible outcomes of present events that are set to happen in the future, rebuild his kingdom, etc.
In short, yes.

not sure how that line of logic works
additionally, how would he even know where to teleport?

yeah, that time machine is part of his castle, not something he carries around with him
did you read the OP?
not sure how that line of logic works

He's used his teleporter in Ashema #1, Doomwar #2, Fantastic 4 #10, Supervillain Team-up #3, etc., showing that it's part and parcel with his armor. He's even used it in his fight with Grey Hulk.
It's already been beaten into everyone's skull that he CAN teleport through the employment of his suit. How you find that difficult to comprehend is beyond me.
By either asking for directions or exploring the continent himself through flight.
Or by teleporting to random locations until he finds something significant. Use your imagination.
yeah, that time machine is part of his castle, not something he carries around with him
did you read the OP?
Yeah, no.
It's built into his suit.
And yes, I have.
Have you actually taken the time to look at the source material before saying these ridiculous things?

hmm, well, I happen to own some of the issues you sourced
FF #10 shows doom getting a teleporter from aliens, something we see precisely once, so It's reasonable to assume that it nmever survived teh shrinking
and in the Super Villain team-Up issue, he specifically refers to the teleporter as something he had to prepare
so, yeah, your sources aren't doing for me

Weak rebuttal. The following shows Doom teleporting here:

And here:
Doom has also built devices that can teleport others AND cancel other people's teleportations. You've only made reference to ONE scan, which doesn't even come close to proving your point.
A teleporter has always been part and parcel with Doom's standard armor.
...........................................what does taht ahve to do with anything?
he's using a cosmic cube in that scan, that has nothing to do with time travel or doom's standard equipment
Learn the difference between the Cosmic Cube and a TIME CUBE. He materialized the time cube from his armor. It was already built-in.
You have just proved that you know absolutely NOTHING of the subject.
*Cue round of applause*
^^^ Now, read this carefully. "TIME CUBE ENGAGEMENT READY."
hey, you posted all of those in miniature(they don't blow up like their supposed to), no one can see what's going on

okay, where is that scan from?
because that doesn't look like mainstream continuity
regardless, that is short-range teleportation right there
he needed Norman's help to do that one, your still showing nothing that applies to the situation at hand
Doom is eaten by one of Daenarys' dragons, which are pretty big by now. Alternatively the armies of Westeros combine to annihilate this new menace.
the OP states that he arrives about a year before her dragons are born
@betatesthighlander1: Then I refer you to my second possibility.

hmm, you don't think Doom has any chance of swaying or scaring them with his superior technology?
okay, where is that scan from?

Did you literally forget the other instances where Doom has generated PORTALS for long-distance travel?
He's used the same kind of teleportation in his fight with the Hulk to flat-out VACATE an entire area. So, to simply dismiss it as 'short-range teleportation' does NOTHING to discount the initial argument.
And yes, it is part of mainstream continuity, actually. Taken from Incredible Hulk 2011 (Issue #5).
he needed Norman's help to do that one, your still showing nothing that applies to the situation at hand
Nope. The Time Cube feat was only achieved by Doom.
You're still showing NOTHING that counters any of my points, except picking and choosing, and looking for non-existent loopholes.
@ssjlozza: Dragons?
Doom could easily hypnotize them, the same way he did to the sea creature here:
Armies of Westeros?
Doom is capable of summoning hordes upon hordes of Mindless Ones and other such demons to fight for him.
Did I forget to mention he could fight off entire armies as well with just his suit?

what "dozens" of instances?
and you proved nothing for that second part (just showing him teleporting once proves nothing about him vacating the area)
okay, well the feat is still entirely unrelated to what we're talking about

Okay, Prove that first part
And pretty much all of your points boil down to being vague or ignoring what Doom actually has in this scenario, I've already shown two pieces of evidence to the two sources you gave, I might be able to show more if I know what your actually citing
unless your asking me to actively prove that doom can't do it, in which case i'll have to inform you that proving negatives is not something often asked on this site.
@azathoth_the_dread_sleeper: I have a feeling that your leaving out a lot of lot for all of those scans you just showed
every instance you've cited so far has been based off of misconception

You claimed that Norman "HELPED" Doom in some vague way, without even mentioning WHAT Norman helped him on. So the burden of proof is yours to bear.
To clarify, Norman only HELPED Doom by preventing him from falling into a magic-induced paralysis, which resulted from his battle with Morgana An instance that had NO connection to the Time Cube at all.
Now, please, POINT to me, WHERE exactly do you see Norman Osbourne "HELPING" Doom in this scan?
LOL. TWO PIECES OF "EVIDENCE".
I've shown at least eight pieces of evidence that solidify that Doom can teleport without prep.
Pretty much, your entire argument rests on only ONE scan, and the other "piece of evidence" you've already neglected to show.
