Well if we take out writing am I being a fanboy or do I REALLY believe this

I am going with Doc Samson. He fought the "second only to WWHULK" strong Hulk who had no controlling influence from banner for 6 straight hours and stood toe to toe the WHOLE time. Doc is just as invulnerable and though not as strong as the thing he IS strong enough to hurt the thing. I don't think the thing could handle Doc's speed, fighting skill, and ferocity.

I think Doc would win, he's faced insurmountable odds time and time again, with out the need of a team, ie. the F4.

I am glad you agree with me! I miss the John Byrne Doc Samson who was a complete bada$$, he sought out the Hulk and fought him one on one. He is the only guy I know to go that long against the hulk without getting knocked out or beaten. He also is the only guy I know who knocked out the Hulk with a punch.

I am going to have to go with Samson. He has enough strength and durability to match the Thing, but even better stamina and fighting skills. As its been stated he went 6 hours against the Hulk.

I didn't know there were this many Doc Samson fans. I thought I was in the minority in thinking he was a badass and would beat the Thing.

Stronger, smarter, cooler...my bet's on this guy:

He's not stronger than the Thing... though he is as resistant to pain and all forms of damage. Doc would win this one, he has superspeed and is a very good hand to hand combatant.

Oh, and the Juggernaut knocked Hulk out with one punch before.
