@nosoamazing: strength. If you're strong enough to launch something beyond the solar system, you're strong enough to throw a powerful punch
Disney Villains vs Avengers
@nosoamazing: because most of them can snap their fingers and they die or turn into toy.
Only ursula and jafar can be killed by normal means. Maleficent has to be killed by magic amoed weapons and hades is a god.
@amazingwebhead: how can the avengers possibly win....
@nerdchore: And she can't be incenerated by a repulsar beam why?
Freaking spite. Disney villains rapestomp. How is marvel team supposed to deal with mid-high tier magicians/reality warpers?
And an immortal god
@amazingwebhead: how can the avengers possibly win....
Not many of the Disney villains have shown their worth in a hands-on fight. Hell, only Jafar has fought the hero 1-on-1.
@nosoamazing: because she called on all the powers of hell and became nigh invincible. The only reason she was defeated was to due the other fairies enchanting the sword that stabbed her.
@nerdchore: So she's more durable than Sentry? And would she have time to react?
@nosoamazing: its not about durability. Its about magic invulerability.
Hade's Solo's, Stomps Hards...he had wave your hand and make stuff happen type magic. He took a lighting bolt from Zeus IIRC, either in the movie or TV series.
@jan_valker: Speed blitz.
>gong sound
>jafar stares at them
>turns them all into clapping monkey toys
Yeah, speed blitz will solve anything. Especially with the immortal god of death. He's surely screwed.
@nosoamazing: Hades has shown that you HAVE to have at least some form of magic to harm him. When Hercules (a guy who, as a mortal, was capable of lifting the titans, all taller than mountains, and throwing them into space) attempted to attack him before he regained his godhood, he couldn't even physically touch Hades. He charged him and attempted to tackle him and literally went right through Hades' body. Hades also absorbed the lightning from Zeus that had kept the Titans in physical restraint for ages (and the lightning clearly rakes across his arms but he is unharmed by it). He is shown to casually create massive fires that can instantly incinerate large swaths of land as well as create matter with a thought. And after Hercules DID regain his godhood and was able to touch Hades, a punch from him deformed Hades' face but he was still able to instantly restore his body.
Maleficent was shown to be impervious to harm unless "good" magic was used against her, plus she had shapeshifting, and her magic was powerful enough to change the landscape of a whole countryside in an instant or put a whole castle of people to sleep. Plus, she was shown on multiple occasions to be able to transform into fire and smoak and all manner of things of her own volition, and it was at least heavily implied that physical force could not harm her.
Neither of these people could be harmed by Iron Man's repulsor rays, and thus no amount of speed-blitzing would help them.
Now, Jafar is a harder one. If he was given a moment to cast his spells, he could turn Iron Man's outfit into an Iron Maiden, which would instantly kill him...MAYBE. See, even if he was not a genie himself, our Genie still gave him his powers, so it is arguable if he could actually kill anyone with them...depends on how the semantics of the genie rules work. And even if he COULD kill, he was shown to be not impervious to physical damage, so Iron Man COULD potentially speed blitz him. Course, the OP didn't specify if the combatants are in-character or not, so I assume they are, and I don't know if Iron Man is prone to speed-blitzing people he hasn't encountered before, while Jafar WAS shown to be rather trigger happy, so that might not happen. If Tony did try that, Jafar would have to rely on Maleficent and Hades to damage soak for him.
Ursula wasn't that impressive (although with what the Trident was shown to be able to do, she SHOULD be), and I have no doubt she would fall pretty quick here.
Still, that is 2, maybe 3 people who could solo the whole Avengers team. Easily. No magic means no way of harming Hades or Maleficent.
@nerdchore: @theirishdoctor: So by that logic not even Thor with his strongest strike could harm them. Cause that's basically what your saying. And didn't Maleficient need to turn into dragon first? Ursula, Jafar, and Maleficient all get one-shot with repulsar blast unless you give me reaction feats. We must have watched to different movies cause I don't remember Hercules doing anything. And I already explained this. Iron Man takes hits from guys who bust things as large as suns, but that doesn't mean there using that same amount of force.
Edit:I meant Hades doing anything.
@nosoamazing: yes thats what we are saying..... hades is a god. Maleficent is weak to only good magic amps. Jafar can snap his fingers and turn iron man into a toy.
@nerdchore: Thor is a God but that didn't stop Iron Man from harming him. Your point. Maleficient could still be hurt while she's at her normal state. And basically your saying Maleficient can survive theddestruction of a universe? Iron Man or Iron Fist could blow him away before he reacts.
@nosoamazing: you are missing the points over and over again. Hades in movie god =/= thor god from movies.
Jafar literally snaps his fingers which is in character. Iron man speed blitzing is not in Character.
