If we get paired up I'll be happy to have a great debate with you, I generally try and keep a friendly tone the entire debate so nobody gets too flustered or angry. Just remember to try and stay organized, address key points, and research the characters you've chosen!

I myself first entered one of DireDrills Tournaments and went up against some of those guys, I too was nervous but as long as you're able to create some killer tactics and impress everyone else you'll do fine :)

If you ever want any general tips about debating or whatever I could try and give you some, just PM me or something!

In order to ensure a quick start, I need everyone to go through and verify that their team is finished being made. Make sure that all infantry have been assigned to commanders, that equipment is assigned correctly, and that everything is how you want it to be.

Starlord has his battle suit, battle helmet and Element Gun. (Or whatever his current gun is being dubbed).

Marcus will have his Mark 2 Lancer, Gnasher Shotgun, MX8 Snub Pistol, 2 Bolo Grenades, 2 Smoke grenades, and all of his other standard COG gear such as armor, communications gear ect.

Max and Nikita are both fine. How are Timberwolf and Argus' healing factors? You have suggested that they are quite formidable in the past.

All your infantry picks including Cameron Hicks are fine. However, I'll only allow some of their equipment, I'd pick 2 items a piece. Remember, they get a M-92 Berreta, KABAR, AK-47, and Kevlar Vest for free.

Then all you need do is spend your Command and Tactical points, pick a country, and you'll be good to go.

yeah Number 6 is like a James Bond who specialises in playing mind games and psychological warefare.

Argus' healing is close to on a par with Logan he has one healing feat where the magnitude of what healed might be above ( he literally regrew eyes that were gouged out) but it took a couple of issues to happen IIRC.

Timber wolfs healing would be below Logan easily. I wasnt as sure with him re his strength level. he has some versions that display strength above what I recall Spidey doing. most versions however are fine.

@beatboks1: I have always assumed that Argus' Eye Regrowing feat was more because his powers are primarily eye based. But all your people seem fine.

I am a bit curious as why you picked comm links and psychic links? Seems sort of redundant unless you really wanted nightvision.

For the Crazy Al's Used Cars, you get 2 Vehicle Packages are you picking 2 of the Bond, James Bonds? So 4 Vanquishes, 8 TND BMWs, and 4 Zao's Jaguars?

Given the calibre of the people available here, it would not be difficult to shoot down an AC-130 or UAVs. But I considered raising the price on it for awhile but decided against it as I was building my team.

From your Tactical point totals, I am counting only 19 points used.

While I would love to allow you the use of real military vehicles, this is about using fictional stuff so do you have an alternate vehicle package pick?

I took the comm links for for the night vision and as a back up should someone have the ability to take out cerebro ( but mainly for night vision for all troopes)

If this is full up ( or their aren't enough for all countries to have 2 teams) I'll drop out. Only joined because I thought someone said you needed 1 more.

How's that look.

Nikita and Max lead my front line troops. Timberwolf is my supply line/support troops. Argus last line of defense. Basically having my sensors in the mid and back of house should guarantee no one sneaks through my defense lines. Since I'm big on sneak attacks myself ( the reason I want night vision since that's best done at night) I'm not about to succumb to one.

@diredrill: IF the Ac 130 can be used as a cargo plane i may swap to Timberwolf as support plane ( airdrop some of the gear from his and Argus' team should things go south TOO much on attack front)
