DireDrill's Big Shoes Tourney

@diredrill: Now that I think about it, I'm not too sure. They are there after tries to make Mars habitable, to kill the roaches sent up(which apparently evolved at an extremely fast pace) so they can colonize it for Earth. The evolved cockroaches are supposed to be the enemy in the series, but I personally think a case could be made either way.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: In that case, they fall more into the grey area of Anti-Hero/Anti-Villain roles which makes I Am The Law available. Ultimately this comes down to your stance on their morals.

@diredrill: Well, most of the BUGS personnel are doing it for a good cause(usually personal, having to do with helping their family or someone they love or care about).

also @diredrill even with one bullet in the chamber the Saint's Colts will fire forever, so you may want to correct that.

So I'll choose his gun seperatley. With perk.

So my perks are as follows: Prometheus Armor (Dwarfstar), Motherbox (Prometheus) Adamantium Ammunition (Deathstroke), Magnetic Baton (Deathstroke) and Captain Cold's gun (Captain Cold). I'll also bank my two remaining points in the high tier bank.

I'll take Rick Flag Jr., Bronze Tiger, Deadshot, Scarecrow, and Count Vertigo.

Definitely grabbin a Yellow ring for Dr. Crane.

Also the Saint of Killer's Gun also puts its 'kill everything' enchant on all of the bullets in its chamber, so the Adamantium Bullets perk would basically give me the Gun with infinite ammo as per usual.

@thedarklordpandamonium: Adamantium Ammo would not increase the number of shots you get but that is some crafty thinking you have there. You still have 6 MTP and 15 LTP.

@diredrill: Because I barely know what most of these things are lol, I really don't like debating with things I have no idea about.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: Given your team's penchant for bugs, you could get the Blue Scarab for 2 of your team members and then convert the rest into either MTP and get 2 more Omnitrixes for your team. Personally, given that you have the Martial Law perk, you probably could do without the Vibranium Suits. This would allow you to get some Iron Spider Suits or Symbiotes or GI Ant Man suits. All of which stick to your Bug theme.

@batnorris: Yes, Items stay with you the whole tourney. Perks are chosen on a per round basis and depend on how many you qualify for.

You get 15 points for every tier. So,15 High Tier Points, 15 Mid Tier Points and 15 Low Tier Points. You haven't spent any points that I can find so you still have 15 in each tier to spend.

My team took 1 Low Tier Bonus and 1 Mid Tier Bonus so they got an additional 6 Low Tier Points and 3 Mid Tier Points.

You can bank up to 5 High, Mid, and Low Tier points for use later on their tourney. This is a good idea if you want to obscure your team's equipment or if you want some flexibility.

Feel free to post your attempt to buy things, if it is wrong I'll tell you and you can change it.

Questions were encouraged in the OP so they are okay. There is also a chance that in answering your question I answer someone else's question.

@juiceboks: Everyone there is fine but Animal Man will be limited to only animals that fit within Spider-man's stats. Go ahead and buy your equipment and pick your perks.

@sovereign91001: Fantomex's Misdirection will be gone as it is way above Mister X but you can still use him sans misdirection. Kakashi worries me but I haven't seen anything from him that would specifically DQ him. So approved with the aforementioned concessions.

@sovereign91001: Teamwork will matter but they will have at least a month of working in proximity with one another with exception of Perk Bonuses those are under your team's control.

@diredrill: well can I sub Fantomex for Spider-Man 2099?

This Amazo cannot copy abilities and is only loaded out with the abilities I have listed. But now I see that I did not list that explicitly and I am sorry for that. With this change does it ease some of your concerns? Should I reduce its abilities to say maybe just Wonder Woman and Aquaman?

You can use all of Quasar's feats that involve the Quantum Bands. You are correct, items like the Talismans, Shen Gong Wu, or the 10 rings of the mandarin etc. can be divided among your team as you see fit.

I think the abilities he has now are fine. Considering what people are allowed to have there are any number of ways to go about beating him.

@juiceboks: This was my feeling as well but perhaps I am wrong.

@backflip: I hope you don't mean Kerrigan by Queen of Blades because she is way too powerful for this. She can throw Siege Tanks around like they are nothing. She is way too powerful. Someone also has Deathstroke so you'll likely need to replace him should they decide to keep him.

@diredrill: Replaced with Deadshot and Quake.

@esquire: Yes, as perks require that your whole team exhibit the quality. Good question.

@backflip: That would be acceptable. I don't think anyone has Deadshot yet.

Couple of questions @diredrill. You've seen me use Alita around the place. I think she's probably a little physically stronger than Spiderman's usual showings, would it be okay if I used her so long as I don't play to that fact? I really love her versatility and character.

Also, are we allowed to pick characters other people have already picked?

@backflip: I just realized that you had Cable on your team. I assume you are using the Cable that has very limited access to TP and TK? I just want to clarify.

@dredeuced: Thanks I was hoping that people would find its setup interesting. Though I know it is pretty complex. Unfortunately, the Achievements make allowing character duplicates untenable. However, differing versions are still okay.

Alita I am going to have to likely DQ. I would prefer to not have to nerf characters if at all possible.

@mightyrearranger: It is not easy keeping all of these teams in my head, I probably need to copy them all into a word doc. @backflip, sorry, looks like Deadshot is taken.

@diredrill: Aw that sucks on Alita, and also on only different versions. Guess I'll have to settle for just Zazie.

That said, Alita's greatest strength feat is this:

I'm not sure how much greater than Spiderman(spiderman's strength...varies wildly) that is but if that's not allowed then I won't press the issue. That said you're allowing guys like Fantomex while nerfing their misdirection so I'm not sure what you are or are not willing to nerf.

Question, could I get a perk for making an all female team? So far the first three picks in my head are incidentally girls and I'm wondering if I can make this work.

@dredeuced: I could create a Girl Power Perk, that is a good idea. Give me some time to think up a good bonus to give or you can suggest something.

Would each of my members have to be from completely different media or if I had a mix of characters from 3 different media would that be enough? I figure that's the perk that allows people to make more varied teams than the just us league or marvel or x-men ones etc.
