Despero with 1 year prep has a chance, unless this is a well feed Galan and if that's the case then Big G ftw.
With one year prep why would he strike when G-money is well fed he would strike when he is attempting to feed, if he has the technology he could destroy the planet and attack him when he is weakened further if not dying when he reaches the next one.
But does he have the technology to destroy a planet?
@Dextersinister: Aside from his powers, Despero has also alot of firepower at his disposal and yes in 1 year he could come up with something that could destroy a planet and more. He is very smart and a great tactician. I personally think he has a chance with 1 year.

Except that Galactus is a galaxy buster at minimum and can go up to universe decimator levels. Despero hasn't a chance in hell.
@czarny_samael666: Not that I know of. But Despero is an intergalactic conqueror, very brilliant in a lot of areas and he already possessed a huge army and in one year he could have a good means to make a dent. Again if this is a hungry Galactus we're talking about, then yes I think he has a shot.
@czarny_samael666: Its not really as hard to find a device to siphon big G, specially if you can find him unaware.
Where is anything like that? Currently I recall only Thanos making one. And he wouldn't be able to use it, if Galan wouldn't already be defeated.

But how can he defeat Galan? Army is nothing against Superman. It would be even less against Odin, let alone Galactus. Hungry Galactus. starving Galactus was able to one-sho Annihilus army. I also don't see why he should be starving.

With prep you would be able to face an extremely weakened Galactus and he is Galaxy buster at best. Being universe level makes no sense because he would then be killing that universes Galactus.
(Insert convoluted plot device) --> (Galactus is defeated)--> (Insert bad plot twist) ---> (Galactus returns and one shots) ---> (Bad plot gets retconned being written off as a make belief story).

Thanos is... Thanos. And there is difference between hurting and KOing. To win, Despero would have to have similar battle in the past. Depsero would have to win with similar being thanks to prep. Thanos, Doom and Richards were able to do it. IDK any of Despero's feats that would prove he can do it.
