I think Black Adam can handle Despero in a solid fight. I cant really see BA losing here through his Speed and Strength. Black Adam should be the victor here.
Despero! His strength outmatch's BA's and his tp/tk handled MM and the whole JLA, took on and beat Superman and Capt Marvel combined physically and pawned the whole top tier JLA! Despero, rather handily in the end!

What do you think BA outclasses him in? I'd give BA the speed advantage and the more encompassing durability because Despero's skin isn't impervious. but I don't think either of those are going to give BA a win, especially since he doesn't have any piercing weapons.
I don't know. Martian Manhunter's telepathy had an effect on the Spectre.

I don't know where you're getting any of that Despero has superspeed as well, before the flame of py'tar all he had was his hypnotic eye and his intellect, and he is a tyrant warlord who conquered his planet and defeated the justice league on many occassions. Even if BA had an advantage in these areas it's not a very big one, and it won't make up for Despero's strength, telepathy, telekinesis etc.
@Static Shock: Despero's can telepathically block MM's TP and he also was able to overpower Aquaman and MM's combined TP.

LOL Talking to fish kind thing. Originally it was just that, then they expanded on it so that he could affect the primitive parts of the human brain. He used this power to give a martian a splitting headache, immobilizing him for the fight. The fact that it was a freaking martian makes it pretty impressive.

Probably Morgan Le Fey tried to betray him and kill him right after he killed enigma (this was in trinity though so don't know how valid it is) anyways if he was so vulnerable to magic would one of these people have tried it guided by marvel's wisdom of solomon
