I think Alan and Obsidian can take this. Team 1's main method of attack is through TP. Both Alan and Todd are immune to TP, meaning all they really have to do is physically overpower team 1. This shouldn't be an issue as those two are basically the premium one to combo of energy manipulators in the DCU. Despero is weak to molecular rearrangement and Sorrow can be absorbed by Todd.
This is a crazy match up, but brute strength and psionics are the hallmark Despero has come to exemplify. Johnny Sorrow is scary, but if Obsidian can wrap his head in darkness (to prevent him from showing his face), then Todd just might be able to BFR Despero to outer space since the world conqueror's partner would effectively be taken off the board by such a tactic.
If that failed, there's always banishment to the Shadowlands. Potentially....
